50 calcified fragments
Seeing as we are closing in on getting 50 fragments, what do you think we will get for all the hard work?

A sense of satisfaction knowing you stuck with the game through it all and showing off to your friends who dismissed Destiny that your Book of Sorrows is complete and theirs isn't. Can you imagine the look of jealousy on their faces as they realize they'll never catch up to your 50 Calcified Fragments compared to their 47? Oh, they'll be begging for Deej to add microtransactions so they can buy the rest of the Calcified Fragments, mark my words. Why? Because they want to be just like you, the guy who looked past all the nerfs and microtransactions and toxic community in order to realize your dream of catching all 50 fragments. Cause you Gotta catch 'em all™, ya know. [spoiler]But seriously, I hope it's something cool.[/spoiler]

3 RisposteIt's a shader.... It's in the shader kiosk. When completing hunger pangs quest. Getting all 50 fragments unlocks it.

Are you seriously thinking we will get an exotic for 5 fragments considering the last 3 we are receiving 320 gear with them. I pray they give us nothing because it won't be earned if they do

After beating Oryx and receiving the 50th fragment, you'll get a mix of error codes than sent to title screen. After logging back in, you're progress would be lost.

2 RisposteTo be honest, getting all fragments really isn't that much of a feat. So all of these people joking about a shader or emblem probably aren't far off. I mean lets be real here, the whole calcified fragment quest chain isn't really something you pay that much attention to. The only time you do is for ToM, and that was enough of a reward. Aside from looking on wikis to find them in patrol for 30 minutes and the ToM quest, it really takes no effort to collect them.

Upon completion of the chain, your Touch of Malice will auto rank to 320 and shoot calcified fragments instead of bullets at a base damage of 2.9x and the final (replenishing) round will do .50 less damage to your health. Also Deej himself will fondle your hairy sack. Pew Pew Pew!

50 calcified fragments would allow us... To play the old raids at 310 light. Update Loot drops: 310-320 fatebringer 310-320 Vision of confluence 310-320 Rest of Vault of Glass weapons and armor sets All Crota weapons and armor sets up to 320 light Prison of Elder weapons would have shank burn/Vandal Burn/Captain Burn/etc. Passively unlocked instead of taking up a perk slot between 310-320 light. If only that could happen. Yes, this is old content being updated But I would much rather use a 310 Atheon's Epilogue over a 320 Harrowed Excuse-of-a- Weapon Anguish of Drystan (Auto Rifle).
