Just spent two hours doing that god forsaken mission and didn't even beat it, I was light 303 and my fire team was 300+, I can believe they made that last room so god damn difficult. I'm never wasting my time on this retarded game again.

For me, getting the black spindle is more about the fun of beating a difficult mission than anything else. Most of the quest exotics are fun for me because it's about the journey of setting out to do something and then accomplish it. I just got it on Saturday so I hadn't used it much, but so far I like it better than any other sniper I have ever had, and it's cool looking.

Modificato da frankhail306: 11/30/2015 2:55:26 PMIt's worth it if you want the grimor card and wanna test out the gun. Me and my team beat it with 25 seconds to spare and tbh it was an amazing feeling finally seeing that gun drop I was the nightstalker One had celestial nighthawk And one hammer of sol I'd recommend that type of group if possible Oh and exotic swords Basically you need two people focusing on adds and one on the boss if you have a nightstalker make sure he or she traps the boss and start sniping him to do damage

Why do ppl STILL have issues with this mission after it's been out for months? It's so easy especially when it first came out and most that beat it were in the 280s

1k yard stare with triple tap does just as much dps

I think it's a good weapon to have but not a deal breaker.

11 RisposteModificato da Yoko: 11/30/2015 5:48:28 AMWell, it was like that for me. Here's a tip for beating it - all of you need exotic swords. Preferably raze lighter. It'll make it go by QUICK (hopefully). Struggled with it for five hours last time with no sword. Tried it again, completed it on first try with sword and two minutes left. Exotic swords kill. Is it worth it though? Only if you want to cheese the raid.

The mission is not impossible with the right strategy. 300+ light will go a long way. Have a balanced team. Hunter with nightstalker, Titan hammers and Warlock stormcaller. Having your team set into different roles. Titan crowd control hammers entering the final room. Followed by nightstalker and stormcaller. This should generate enough orbs for the party. Clear adds and blight. Then dps boss. Clears next wave of adds and dps boss again. Keep the adds levels down and you'll win. If you don't, you'll end up running out of time. You want to get to the final room with 5+ minutes to play with.

Yes but it's a pain. I did it once and then just bought duplicates for my other characters

Modificato da Phoenix: 11/30/2015 2:03:41 PMI did it when it first came out we were all around 280 and 290 :D
-
We did it on first day all 280ish with swords

If you have trouble with the sword strategy try blessings of light in the middle of the entrance hall and touch of malice
-
It's probably the most challenging pve encounter in the game currently. If you're on ps4, I'll help you.
-
It took me 6 minutes on first try with good team mates
-
All you need is one guy with sword on last part. We literally had a minute and a half left first try and all I did was f*ck up all the adds at the end with my trusty sword :)

-
Use swords fam. I'm not even 300+ and I did it on my second run. Boss first, then blights, then adds.
-
Guardian. Taken will not rest! Will claim every house!
sorry OP, that's the end, you don't end up getting black spindle cuz reasons
-
4 RisposteIts horrible. Will never get the Black Spindle. Wish bungie could nerf it for solo players.
-
It's easy to beat if you have exotic swords. Especially the void and solar one. If not it can get pretty sloppy. It's the best gun in the game for a hand full of situations and is the only high impact sniper in the game right now.
-
If you don't use the correct strategy it'll never work lol! I hardly ever play, jumped on the last time it was the daily got it done 2nd try. I'm not even 300 light. When you get to the last room blights are priority 1, then clearing ads, using stuff like pyre with your hammer or bloom with a void walker and so forth are key, think "crowd control" but remember if you're not clearin those blights as they appear, you're gonna get overwhelmed by ads and fail
-
Depends if you really want a highly situational sniper rifle or not. Personally I like having all the exotics so that's why I did it, after many tries! Lol I have legendary snipers that do the same job in most situations. It's really just a static boss killer.
-
Getting out of the middle room helps. Get out there, kill blights as a priority and focus on adds. You get a suprising amount of time to chip away at the boss.

Black spindle is the best raid weapon imo and best sniper hands down, so is it worth it? I'd say yes
