Is the black spindle mission even worth it
Just spent two hours doing that god forsaken mission and didn't even beat it, I was light 303 and my fire team was 300+, I can believe they made that last room so god damn difficult. I'm never wasting my time on this retarded game again.

It's very worth it. Especially for bosses in the raid or bosses in strikes etc. It has the highest impact of any sniper out there.

yep worth it - was something to do too but its like a raid - can take hours! I kept going to LFG and finally after 10 tries got on a team and we did it. Used our mics to talk it through! 2 hunters and me a hammer guy. Cleared adds all the time with swords and then tethered him and banged him up with swords and what not! Snuck up on him from the back with the sword so can't mess with you! Hunters with tethers helped a ton to clear rooms to get us there with 7 minutes to go for final fight! Got the gun and the SHIP - oh ya - double drop! SO REWARDING AFTER SO MANY TRIES AND NOT GIVING UP! TY LFG!

2 RisposteNot the game's fault you can't beat it. Have a shocklock clear adds every time they spawn with a nightstalker to generate orbs for him. Last guy can be anything. Clear the blights immediately every time they spawn and only hit the boss when he's the last thing alive. And yes, it's worth it. Best gun in the game for Warpriest and Golgoroth. Sleeper Simulant is an acceptable replacement though.

There are so many different strategies you can use that make it a breeze. If you have either Dark Drinker or Raze Lighter you can take the boss out pretty fast. Bolt Caster can work but the heavy attack is made more for range. You can also try Sleeper Simulant or really good snipers. I find the swords work easier since this may be the only boss in the game without a stomp attack.

Yes. I failed around 8 or times the first few times it was the daily. Put a LFG post up and got one, asked my friend who had already completed it to help. Boom, first try and we had 20 seconds left. Supers, Zhalo supercell, grenades, decent sniper for the wizards and be in the boss room for 6minutes. Just take care of the adds and blights, DPS boss and then take out the next set of blights and adds and so on until boss is nearly dead. DPS boss and just spam the adds. There you have it, you now own a black spindle. We had a captain who was hiding at the back, if we never found him we would of failed.

1 RispondiI helped a friend yesterday (or the day before?) with it and we had over 2 minutes left at the end. It's all about clearing those blights right away and using the right supers at the right times. We did it with one titan and two hunters with bows. I actually got a second Spindle, I didn't think you could do that. Maybe because I was on a different character, I was hoping for the ship. And yes, it's worth it. The Warpriest and Golgoroth melt with it.

This weekend was the first time I had a chance to do it and got it done with 2 min left. Took it to 316 and it does 25k more damage than my 319 1k stare. But I won't infuse my 319 1k stare because it's legendary.

If you want to do the raid, then black spindle is a really nice sniper. It helps DPS several of the bosses. Team with spindles melts the warpriest and golgroth.

It's worth it. A lot of strats out there...we use swords. (Only one was exotic) Used supers when they were full to clear adds but other than that, kept swinging at the boss.

I only use mine in the raid, but it's great for those encounters. I use swords for everything else because they're more fun.

It's well worth it. Everyone needs to clear the adds/blights when you first get in the room. Everyone DPS the boss in between add kills - we all used swords to DPS the boss when the adds were down. Then one person concentrates on the boss to keep him busy while the other two kill nothing but adds/blights, and again everyone DPS boss while there are no adds. Rinse and repeat until you have your spindle.

Modificato da PedalOnTheRight: 11/30/2015 3:04:49 PMwe did it 2nd run with 3 low 300's first run was basically practice to see how it would go and we actually came pretty close, killed boss but ran out of time on adds 2nd run went so much better since we knew what was coming - focused on making as many orbs for each other (and 2 of us using bad juju to super even faster) in the last room we only killed adds when we had to and used supers to smoke them fast - practically instant super recharges off each others orbs but focused fire on boss Once boss was down we mopped up with supers - we went right to left on the room clean up but I don't think it matters as long as you kind of have a plan for it - had almost a minute to spare I went warlock (main a hunter) so I could palpatine hand the mobs and he has not gotten to do the KF raid yet so needed some attention 3 warlocks: 2 zappers and 1 fire breather (self-rez to save time on revives)

For me, getting the black spindle is more about the fun of beating a difficult mission than anything else. Most of the quest exotics are fun for me because it's about the journey of setting out to do something and then accomplish it. I just got it on Saturday so I hadn't used it much, but so far I like it better than any other sniper I have ever had, and it's cool looking.
