Why do you play destiny if you don't raid?
Everyone complains about the raid and say they don't even bother with it for one reason or another...
So why do you even stick around if you don't go for endgame loot? I'm just curious what you guys do if you don't do any raids.

I'd love to try the raid. I'd like to see a matchmaking/lobby setup in the future. Mic check and ready up. So much fun in destiny tho - Iron Banner being my absolute favorite. But crucible, strikes, patrols... The. Let's go back and play with year 1 raids and strikes. All good times.

Because the raid just rewards you with stuff to help you do the raid some more. Hell, the only reason to reach high rank is to -drumroll- do the HARDER version of the raid! So -blam!-ing fun right? I've probably less than 10 raid completions in total.

By personifing myself through armor, marks and weapons, ships and shaders matching what the carfully encoded select grimoire cards hace to offer. Me and my gf don't bother with the raid. We do IB, strikes and daily etc. and we still have fun enjoying each others company. But then again, we don't complain about it either.

During vanilla destiny I didn't know what LFG or the app was so it was really hard finding a raid group. On top of that I was lvl 28. So I spent my days doing the nightfall and pvp. Because of all the time I spent in pvp I've become decent in pvp. So there's my answer. Now of course today I do the raids and such.

The guns and abilities of the game are different and the mechanics and how smooth/balanced (compared to other games) this game is what really stands out to me. Plus u can go into a patrol and do whatever you want with ur friends

1 Rispondimost loot is available without doing the raid, so people do strikes, Iron Banner, PvP, story and patrol. Raid is just a niche part of Destiny.

2 RisposteI try to raid but the... Elitists have ruined my desire to do so. For now I'm just gonna stick to upgrading my artifact and mark to hit 300/so I can grind strikes when I get 3oc this weekend for 310s

I have been as far as the sisters, then everything falls apart. Someone has to go, some impatient blam!hole rage quits, someone is confused and no one will take the time to explain what to do. I have tried every outlet possible to try and finish the Raid and every time ends in failure. Honestly, trying to do the Raid is one of the worst experiences I have ever had playing a game.

I'll run a fireteam for Nightfall, but I play because the game is fun and the path is there to achieve a high level over time. 310 Hunter now, I'll have a 310 Titan very soon. Next Iron Banner I'll run into some solid RNG and increase my level. It's slow. But that's the way I play.

I haven't done a single raid yet. Not enough people to do it and the recruitment posts usually say that you need to know what to do. I'm usually playing crucible.

4 RisposteNever done a single raid yet, not enough peeps to make a team, and recruitment is just "must have this, must have that, must know what to do". Can't learn if you can't get in, so I just do patrols, stories, crucible. Whatever takes my fancy to pass the time really. Not raiding doesn't make it any less fun for me
