Why do you play destiny if you don't raid?
Everyone complains about the raid and say they don't even bother with it for one reason or another...
So why do you even stick around if you don't go for endgame loot? I'm just curious what you guys do if you don't do any raids.

I got the game with TTK. Have no clan,have no house, but does the raid with lfg. The grind is real but my drops are real also. :) . Beast mode baby. See you in the HM raid challenge.

Raid loot system is ridiculous. I beat normal maybe 6 times, hard mode once, and that was all I needed. I will only play Iron Banner from here on out because its loot system makes sense. I won't sign into Destiny unless Xur has something.

1 RispondiThe trials of Osiris and iron banner earn you raid tier gear. Not to mention the weekly pvp ritual, which got me a 310 eyasluna.

No elemental primaries really soured the raid for me... It was bad enough when they added yet ANOTHER level of RNG but after that I only raid occasionally... Its not worth the hassle to get the guns Imo... Unlike vault which had awesome guns to try and get and crota which had black hammer and the elemental primaries.

I play for.....fun. Believe it or not, if you only play 1-2 hours at a time once or twice a week, you don't get burned out on this game like those who play 6 hours everyday. I enjoy raids but my lifestyle doesn't support the time investment to git gud. Which I'm fine with.

No dedicated time to do it. I play quick in and out stuff as time allows. IB, heroic strikes, etc.

I don't care for most of the raids. That type of gameplay is annoying. It takes too much time, and it turns entertainment into work. Becoming involved with LFG is also unpleasant.

I haven't bothered with the hard mode for a couple of reasons. 1. Birds, don't wanna mute my mic on hard mode. 2. Not interested. Don't see a point except getting higher light stuff which only makes doing it again easier. 3. Wife, baby, and full time job where I get off at midnight make it hard to just spend time playing a video game for 5-6 hours doing only one thing 4. Overall lack of interest in destiny. I only play destiny if my bro has my fallout and If I do play destiny it's only for pvp. 5. I stopped grinding. I don't do anything that I don't think is actually fun. I don't do anything just because I need a certain item, etc. 6. Just genuinely not interested. Before kings fall, I completed both raids and their hard modes aloooooot. Sword bearer, relic holder, you name it. Now........I'm just not interested. Trials of osiris, regular pvp, and iron banner are my thing now. I don't play pve and don't care about rewards........like, at all, to the point where I haven't done a nightfall in weeks.

Everything that doesn't require a firmed fire team generally. That said my time spent has reduced significantly of late. Motivation for the game has somewhat waned.

I'd love to try the raid. I'd like to see a matchmaking/lobby setup in the future. Mic check and ready up. So much fun in destiny tho - Iron Banner being my absolute favorite. But crucible, strikes, patrols... The. Let's go back and play with year 1 raids and strikes. All good times.
