Only the old Bungie, master of the Halo series could stop them. But when the world needed them most, they vanished. This is by no means scientific or deeply into statistical analysis but, as I see these rankings, I see balance (relatively speaking) - even if the Hunters are slightly over represented among the best in the world in PvP play. Notice that the #1 spots are held by Hunters and Warlocks in Clash, Control, and ToO - no Titans. Also notice that Hunters have the most in the top 10 with 16, followed by Warlocks at 8, and lastly Titans with 6. It means that as much as folks want to think Sunbreakers are OP, they really are not - at least as can be determined at this time. If we look at the best players in the world and their classes, we'd have to say that HUNTERS are slightly OP, no? These rankings are a snapshot in time and change over time - and, of course, these rankings are of just the "best players" in the world so they may or may not have any reflection in reality for the rest of us mere mortals... And, if memory serves, more people play Hunters than any other class so that kinda skews the data (you will statistically, then have more Hunters in the top IF they are at least relatively equal, right - this makes sense...); followed by Warlocks, and then Titans as far as player numbers go (don't quote me on that as these demographics may have also changed). If all I saw was Sunbreakers being used by the top players I would agree that they were OP but that is not the case. I think a better case can be made for playing the class that best suits your playstyle and the actual skills each player posses...{shrug} Just my humble opinion and by no means scientific - pretty much anecdotal with a smattering of data that may or not be indicative of one dayyum thing... lol Source is http://destinytracker.com/
