Nerfing the Hawkmoon?
Why Bungie? Is like you people are trying to make us hate you. Range -20? Bonus damage nerf? Why? Why are you trying so hard for me to hate this game? Why are you trying to ruin the fun? I don't get it. Do you people play your own game? Do you hate your game? Are you just master trolls? JfC

Someone needs to calm down. Playtests at bungie showed that the hawkmoon would likely become the new meta at all ranges, and so to compensate it's losing its range and 10% of the holding aces/luck in the chamber damage to avoid those lucky and not skilled two shot kills.

The way I understand it and of course doesn't make it true. But when they tested the new changes hawkmoon dominated all other hand cannons. So they're not nerfing it as it stands now but what it was going to be after the changes. Could be wrong but that's what I took from it.

5 RisposteLmao. They're nerfing the hawkmoon because the first curse sucks and hawkmoon is better in everyway. Nerfing hawkmoon will make the first curse actually seem usable afterwards. Bungie just doesn't know how to make better guns. Instead they break old ones to make newer ones look better.

Because everyone has bought and leveled their best Pulse Rifles so they want to nerf them so we have grind out a different weapon. Like I said, I swear they're doing it on purpose to keep the grind alive... Hawkmoon is still temping to some so... they have to do something to convince them to use Auto Rifles instead.

1 RispondiI agree. Even during the Thorn Meta, in a skilled hand, Hawkmoon was quite good. The difference being it always took skill to use. Even after the 2.0 rebalance, it was still really good. The planned nerf will make it useless. I really don't understand Bungie's mindset. Glad I've been away for a while. No incentive to come back at all...

They are just looking at reports and stats and nerfing blindly. They never had any balance and never will. Complete fail.

Just have crucible specific armor perks. A chest piece that reduces shot gun damage for example. Players can enjoy their weapons, and sometimes get killed when not expecting it because their 1-hit kill shotgun did not work. Imagine the new but worthy grind to earn this type of gear. Of course raid gear would be separate and used for PVE content.

They could've just increased the mag size, it would spread the luckies more. If it's this way they shouldn't do anything to damage multiplier.
