[BUNGIE] Vulture errors on Xbox One (11/18/2015) [IMPORTANT UPDATE 11/20 @ 12:00PM PST]

Hello, Bungie is aware of some Xbox One players encountering Vulture errors immediately after logging in this morning (November 18th). We are working with our partners at Microsoft to investigate the issue. [spoiler]If you are experiencing Vulture errors that prevent you from accessing Destiny, please reply below with the following information: 1) What time ([i]including Time Zone[/i]) did you receive your first Vulture error today? 2) Are you enrolled in the Xbox One Dash Preview Program? 3) Are you receiving any other error codes? The problem appears not to be isolated to Destiny, as players have reported that certain other titles are being impacted as well with messages related to online play and saved game storage. We will provide additional updates as soon as we have more information.[/spoiler] [u][b]FINAL UPDATE: 11/20 @ 12:00PM PST[/b][/u] After working with our partners at Microsoft, our analysis shows that the rate of players encountering Vulture errors has been decreasing since yesterday. If you continue to experience Vulture errors that prevent you from logging into Destiny, you may want to manually initiate a System Update: - Scroll left from Home to open the guide. - Select Settings. - Select All Settings. - Under System, select Console info & updates. - Available updates will show in the second button down in the first column. - If an update is available, the button will read Update Available. If your console is already on the current release build, the button will be grayed out and will read No update available.

  • I am getting Weaseled, & the Drum when I try to sign back in. It is not my connection. But it's relentless, I literally cannot play Destiny because of this. I can't Raid, it just signs me out like every half hour ... It's out of hand.

  • 11:30 MST i started recieving vulture error codes now its 4:20 pm and i am still recieving errors. i was able to get on for 1.5 hours then left and returned to error codes again. i am an XBox Live member and current no other messages have appeared

        • Hey guys do you want a fix for vulture here it is... Go to network advanced settings and selected Alternate MAC Settings and selected clear and that will fix any error code Also if you use Comcast xfinity Internet you will need wpa-tkip for it to work

        • Since 5PM UK time. Got a different message first, I think marionberry, then vulture ever since. Also just recently got the update and thought that would fix it, but still getting vulture. I also have the preview program.

          • since 5pm Uk time error: vulture preview: yes occurs: when I pick my hunter Resolving it with : Same steps as everyone else to resolve it, hasn't worked. -Between the games content (until this raid) being so riddled by bugs that 90% of people cheated their way through it -your ton of "fixes", that lead to fixes for the fixes -Your dire patch deployments in the middle of peak hours maximising impact for customers instead of doing them out of hours/unsociable hours like any other service provider. -Those being extended multiple times because you apparently don't test the rolling out for those well enough before they get near production. just where did you hire your team of apparently inept development staff? and why are they still working there?? (Mind if this was a plan to get everyone to play Halo and Fallout...good work you've nailed it)

            • 1. When I jumped on Destiny 1pm GMT. This was after a 300mb+ Xbox update... 7pm GMT now and still no luck.. 2. Yes, updated today with a 300mb+ Update 3. No other error codes, happens after I load into orbit, the orbit screen flashes before the vulture!

            • Xbox one update pushed today around 11gmt UK. 1) booted out as soon as choosing character on title screen (on both live accounts) tried five times at 12/1300 GMT. 2)yes, I am in preview program 3) Vulture, lots of them ! Never normally have issues, hope it's fixed by tonight!!! I got limited time to play.

                19:00 gmt today after an Xbox update. Yes part of the preview program. Seems to me like everyone posting is, guess this is the price to pay for running beta software . . . No other codes

              • This is totally crazy! Your games/DLC'S cost way too much for all of these constant problems. Every time i turn on my game there's an update here a patch there or something is screwing up. Now, I can't enjoy one of my favorite competitions in this game...Iron Banner. It sucks enough that it only comes around 1 time a month for a week. I am a loyal customer and have spent a lot of money on the game + dlc's, but I'm almost to the point where I cant deal with it anymore. This is the SECOND day in a row, (11-19-15), that I am receiving vulture errors. This has happened non-stop since 2:40pm EST time(11-18-15) to now 1:30pm EST time (11-19-15). Come on guys there are a lot of people that love this game, but are giving up on you as the developer with all the constant problems. Tighten up.

                  • Been unable to connect since 18/11/2015 1930hrs G.M.T. Over 100 vulture error codes, many hard resets of my xbone, I was wondering weather to delete and re-install the game? I was wodering if it had anything to do with the fact that I turned my xbone off the day before as I was loading into Iron banner, but now I know it's your bad networking.....

                  • Tried everything anyone has suggested and still getting error vulture, had enough off this "insert any obscenity you like" game, won't be buying any more dlc none sense and won't be playing again anytime soon, halo 5 is working PERFECTLY!! so I know it's not Microsofts issue, goodbye destiny and good bloody riddence!!!

                    yes I HAVE RECIEVED VULTURE SINCE ABOUT 9:00 am central (Its 11:18)now.Ihave been a member of the preview server for quite a while now and NO I've recieved no other error codes

                    • 18:30 GMT Yes No Tried going offline and restarting but nothing, couldn't play at all last week, to be honest I'm sick off all this, got halo guardians to play so good buy destiny for the foreseeable future and thanks for taking £80 off me so far ($100 i think) after a disc got "laser burned" and all the dlc's on top.
