Stop running from Sunbreakers!
(Posted this in another thread, but figured I'd make it it's own topic)
The problem with Sunbreakers and why they appear to be so overpowered is everyone running from them.
[b]Of course it's OP when your back is to it. [/b]
Here's how to beat Sunbreaker when playing with a team (easier with fireteam, but totally doable with randoms, if they don't get scared and run)
1. Hear Sunbreaker
2. DON'T RUN
3. Space yourselves out a bit (you should be doing this anyway)
4. FOCUS FIRE (sniper rifles are great for this, but primaries work too)
5. Win
Pay close attention to #2 and #4, they are in caps because they are the most important!

3 RisposteTo the people afraid of sunbreakers, you know what stops a sunbreaker? A nova bomb to the g-ddamn face, that's what. Most satisfying kill I've gotten in Crucible yet.

1 RispondiPeople like you are the reason that Sunbreakers still get kills. It's honestly not that great of a subclass, but people seem to think they can fight him without a super of their own. The amount of kills people feed Sunbreakers is actually hilarious.

You forgot: stay away from floors/walls as most sunbreakers can't aim for crap.

I prefer evading a titan in a super, sure you can kill one, but feeding a titan kills is much worse for the team overall, shadestep behind cover or a well placed tether is pretty effective

You know, it's a natural reaction for you to turn around, start cursing at the top of your lungs, and get the hell outa there when you here the hammer or electricity generate...

Why go to all the trouble when you can just shoot 3 rockets at him and a Nova Bomb and kill him by yourself....

Another super works pretty good too.

Or you wait in between hammers and Jump. It throws off the tracking. Same for when you are getting shot at.

1 RispondiI've figured out that using Invective is actually pretty handy against Titans using Hammers. It takes them out pretty quick.

Yes and no. If you can't kill a sunbreaker with 3 ppl because he manages to destroy a teammate and heal, thn the others can take tht little distraction to run. If 3 ppl cant down one thn 2 ppl makes less sense. Just run. Might have a better chance of surviving

Good point but only in iron banner or trials do teams have the sniping skill and team co-ordination to do so
