Edit: Guys, quick lesson: Spartans can SURVIVE extreme heat, and none of the Guardians' supers are strong enough to hurt a Spartans armor. Skill wise, a Spartan is obviously better trained.

I don't think Spartans get their weapons nerfed at the the incredible rate that a guardians weapons do.

Why are these posts still around?

I always hear people talking about how the supers would kill the Spartan. You do realize that supers aren't spammer, and if they miss they would get absolutely decimated by the much better trained Spartan?
-
2 RisposteLore wise a spartan would probably win. At least if it's one of the Spartan II's or III's. Most of the Spartan IV's seem kinda meh compared to them.

Spartans - Extremely and Thoroughly trained super soldier Guardian - Mediocre Soldier with Immense amount of energy at his/her finger tips controlling devastating power

26 RisposteModificato da Sixclicks: 11/19/2015 7:15:45 PMPlasma burns through Mjolnir armor pretty quickly. Golden Gun uses the heat of the Sun. It could most certainly destroy a Spartan's armor. In fact, if you read the books their armor is a lot weaker than in the game. It would be like playing on Legendary+ difficulty. Also, guardians can just be revived if their ghost isn't destroyed.

Modificato da HCDrifter1024: 11/20/2015 1:27:15 AMI don't think a spartan would survive being thrown into the sun (or getting smacked across the face with a hammer with the power of the sun)...or having a supernova shoved into their face...or taking a beam of controlled energy to the balls (aka golden gun)...or having a knife of pure electricity shoved into their gut (aka arc blade or destiny's version of the energy sword)... In conclusion, guardian supers = dead Spartan Think before you type OP

Hunter go invis shake up spartans head jerking it every which way. Spartan dead. Whatch the game theory episode on spartan armor

16 RisposteLet's make this a fair contest. It's a one life death match in a fair and balanced arena that allows for the maximum amount of abilities to be used on both sides only bringing the best from lore and gameplay (the Cheif is not included as his luck is unbeatable). Those are the terms. Now I'll give a brief outline of abilities on both sides: Spartans are super soldiers. A spartan has both cybernetic and genetic enhancements that grant then increased reaction time, increased strength, increased speed, increased pain tolerance, just to name a few. Spartan IIs and IIIs have had intense training from a young age as well. They are also trained to use basically any weapon that they may encounter. Their armor is incredibly durable and grants the spartan additional capabilities. Spartans also will have an AI companion on roughly the same level as Cortona. Guardians are warriors of the light. Because humanity was changed by the traveler, in addition to the augmentations and abilities granted by becoming a guardian, guardians are far from average. Most of their abilities are unknown, though what we do know is impressive. Guardians have basically the same augmentations that Spartans do, but they are granted by light rather than genetic engineering and cybernetic enhancements. In addition to that they have numerous other abilities such as cloaking, teleportation, flight, multiple unassisted jumps, regenerating grenades, and the list goes on. They have many other abilities, including the ability to tear reality with a simple gesture. This isn't even including their ghosts. The ghosts are far more advanced than any UNSC AI. Your ghost download a library that had broken the bekenstein limit.
In physics, the Bekenstein bound is an upper limit on the entropy S, or information I, that can be contained within a given finite region of space which has a finite amount of energy—or conversely, the maximum amount of information required to perfectly describe a given physical system down to the quantum level
. Feel free to add more to each side if you wish, but in short Spartans would lose if for some reason they ever did end up fighting.

What is this 'Gaurdian' you speak of?

"Spartans never die"

Yeah you're mental. There's absolutely no way you can say that a shot from a golden gun or a nova bomb or a flaming hammer CANT kill a spartan

54 Risposte>A girl I knew in class was a total attention whore. >Never arrived to class on time amd always made sure to make a huge fuss about it. >Didn't talk to her all that much, but I had a few conversations with her. >Her wrists had cuts and burns all over them. She wore t-shirts so she never hid them. >I asked her why she would hurt herself like that. >She said "No one lives me and my life is painful" etc., etc. >"No one loves you? What about your parents or your boyfriend?" >Answer she gave me was something like "They actually don't love me," or some shit like that. >Made a point to not interact with her too much after that, because she's too much of an attention whore. >End of the school year, she came up to me and asked if I wanted to go somewhere with her that Sunday. >I'm not good with these situations, so I couldn't say no, even though I didn't like her. >Sunday came, and we went to one of those tower car parks. >Just as we got to the top, she told me that she wanted me to be here as a witness for her suicide. >"Oh shit," I thought. She was going to jump and was forcing me to watch! >Had I known that she was going to do this, I wouldn't have gone with her. >"Not watching unless you do a flip." I said that to try and shock her into realizing this was stupid. >Complete shock was written all over her face. She thought I'd try and stop her. >"E-eh? You're not going to stop me?" >"No, go on ahead. If you really wanted to live, you'd stop yourself." >After a while, she got off the ledge. She walked up to me afterwards and tried to hug me with tears in her eyes, but I told her I loved someone else. She asked me who, and I told her to read the first letter of every line.

Void walkers hit you with the power of an exploding sun. Gunslingers penetrate any armor. Titans can make a super storm appear outta nowhere.

Just punching a Spartans armor practically breaks there neck so one or two melees

5 Risposte
and none of the Guardians' supers are strong enough to hurt a Spartans armor.
Wow, ignorance. There is no possible way to know this. It's nearly impossible to compare video game universes. Let's just compare their powers of their universes to the others. (Ex: If a Hammer of Sol can 1-shot a Guardian, it will 1 or 2 shot a Spartan.)

Can a spartan come back to life? As many times as they want? I rest my case...

Flash bang spartan be like dafaq? Then crack something solid hits his chest and his instruments are fried. The disorientated spartan gets up and reslises he was just punched and electrocuted at the same time. Then steams as the bullets of a fusion rifle melt his armour and start burning his flesh. He dead
