Please know the difference between:
To, Too, and Two
Their, There, and They are (they're)
Loose and Lose
Wether, Whether, and Weather
Wether is a word, too all the dumbasses out there that do not understand that people actually mistake it and use it instead of whether.
Were and Where
Your and You are (you're)
And for the love of god know the difference between Trials and Trails!!!!
If you do not know how to properly use these words please take five minutes out of your gaming life and educate yourself. Thank you.
Edit: I can't believe that many of you fools really believe that your high-school never taught you grammar. You clearly simply fooled around english class and want to justify yourself by saying "my high-school never taught us grammar".

2 RisposteYou forgot to add how dumbass people use " am " instead of " I'm "
how are you? Am good and yuh?
Morons. It also saddens me to say that even people who graduated can't tell the difference between there, their, to, too, and two.

I assume you had a rough day before posting this? P.S. When the -blam!- would I ever need to use the word, "wether"? Except in a pointless post like this.

Love how you edited all the spelling and grammar mistakes after people called you out. In reality all this thread did was make you look like the dumbass. Good job. You've succeeded at being dumber than the people your calling dumb.

Were and Where sound NOTHING alike. Were is pronounced "wurr" and where is pronounced "wayer." Maybe it's you who dropped out, m80.

Wether is a castrated male sheep, for those who don't know. Also, practice what you preach.

Yeah, well you'r stupid.

21 Risposte
Wether, Whether, and Weather
That's an obvious mistake on your part. Unless you were a shepherd in England circa 1000—1500 odds are you've never even seen that word except as a typographical error. But since you're feeling rather high and mighty regarding your grammatical prowess I felt the need to highlight some other obvious errors.
Edit: I can't believe that many of you fools really believe that your high-school never taught you grammar.
The term "high school" is so common that there is no need for a hyphen. I understand that it can be confusing and suggest you read what The Chicago Manual of Style has to say about compound words when you're having trouble.
You clearly simply fooled around english class and want to justify yourself by saying "my high-school never taught us grammar".
The word "english" is always capitalized when referring to either the language or the nationality. However, when used to describe spin (usually in pool) it is not capitalized. Think of it this way, being English is special (and demands a capital), performing english is not.
You clearly simply fooled around english class and want to justify yourself by saying "my high-school never taught us grammar".
I know I've already discussed this sentence once, but it's special. It's not English special mind you, but it's special nonetheless. Two issues I have already mentioned, the unnecessary hyphen and the lack of capitalization but there is a third (and technically a fourth and fifth). That last bit, the part with the quotation marks, is a mess. After the dialogue tag word "saying" you need to add a comma and then start the dialogue portion with a quotation mark. Additionally, the dialogue should start with a capitalized letter and finally the end quotation mark should be placed outside of the end punctuation, in this case it's a period. The final portion should have looked like this: You clearly simply fooled around English class and want to justify yourself by saying, "My high school never taught us grammar." I'm far from perfect in my writing. I try and get my spelling and punctuation correct but I'll miss some from time to time, I use both ellipses & dashes both to indicate a pause in thinking because I like to write in an informal train of thought style, I'm horrible with run-on sentences, I start off sentences with "and" (I'm trying to use "additionally" more), and autocorrect is a near perfect saboteur at times. But while I try and stress to others that in an online environment where the only way I have to gauge someone's relative intellectual capacity is by their writing, at least in the beginning, I have never issued a diatribe like the one you just delivered. Nobody's perfect, mistakes get made there and sure, sometimes people don't know any better. But you'd condemn the lot for taking a piss in English class. Long story short, you need to move out of that glass house before you start throwing all those stones.

5 Risposteyou have to be a real idiot to be learning grammar in high school and not in elementary school

2 RisposteI don't have a problem with grammar. I can tell you that my high school didn't teach me grammar, nor did any school. Grammar came from parents that didn't want another illiterate dickhead on the planet.
