Thoughts on Arcblade
So I see a lot of people on these forums talking about how Arcblade was nerfed (I started with house of wolves so I know nothing about this) and it just generally seems to be alot of dislike for Arcblade.
I find this odd as almost every pvp match I've played in that had a smart Arcblade, he dominated the game. So I don't really understand the negativity against it when I see it do so good so often.
Hell I've seen an Arcblade tank a point blank shotgun kill me, tank 2nd shot gun and kill teammate, AND THEN tank 3rd shot gun and kill that teammate.
So what's really your thoughts on Arcblade?

Modificato da MrBraveHeart: 11/10/2015 5:30:29 PMEnemy's got harder I think, and left the ability behind. I used arc blade vs a yellow health bar Knight and got killed by it. Took out my exotic sword and diced him up easily. No way a weapon should outclass a super ability.

My bolt-caster make arc blade almost useless. Only good perk is blink.

My only issue with this current iteration is the seemingly exorbitant energy drain. It pretty much lasts half as long. Everything else is fine. Still a monster of a PvP class for the Hunter.

As an Arcblade user since the entirety of Year One, I can express to you my issues. • Razors Edge has an extremely low hit box • The Super is extremely High Risk, High Reward • (Hard to Explain) When you are slicing with your Arc Blade, you do a combo. You go Slice, Slice, Uppercut. But when you do the Uppercut, you stop attacking for a little under a second. Yes, that's a really short amount of time, but it's enough time to get easily Shotgun Melee'd since your [i]just barely[/i] didn't get close enough to your target to lunge and kill them. Basically if you are in the wrong part of the Combo, you will stop for a dangerous amount of time [i]a foot[/i] in front of your target, [i]completely[/i] prone. Other than that, the subclass is great. Skip Grenades if you like that, Arcbolt is still very good, and Stickies if you wanna be that guy. Blink for escaping hammers and rockets. Backstab. Quick Draw (God Tier Perk). Hungering Blade (again, God Tier)

3 RisposteI main arc blade class on hunter. It's still my favorite. They need to give them more armor in the super. Tired of getting killed by one shotgun blast. (After I hit them)

4 RisposteI've been around since almost day one. I don't remember any patch notes saying that arcblade had been nerfed. Bladedancer has been nerfed quite a bit, but arcblade itself hasn't officially changed as far as I know. Everyone used to complain about how overpowered arcblade was. Now that more powerful supers are available to other classes people are calling for an arcblade buff. Welcome to the Destiny forums. People cry over everything. In HoW people were pissed because they could level all the way up to the cap too quickly. Now they think that it takes too long. People were pissed about gjallarhorn being required by LFG groups. Now people are pissed gjallarhorn didn't make it to year 2. There's no winning.

All I'm asking for is a speed buff. If Titans are able to get a Super that makes them a Tank (which fits their role) then give Arc Blade a speed buff. Hunters should be the fastest in the game.

The problem that I see is there is a new class with most of the abilities of blade dancer except with from what i hear more armor and a ranged attack

I kinda miss arcblades...there blade spamming at full speed right at me, pull out my shotgun "Bring it on mother-blam!-er!"

The only time arcblade was actually nerfed was waay back in year one. Back then it had more armor than sunbreakers. Idk what nerfs people are talking about but the only ones that have come since then are the nerfs to blink and arcbolt. Unless you want to count the defender bubble buff as a arcblade nerf..

3 RispostePossibly best subclass when it comes to the perks, very quick and agile. Almost like a run and gunner. The super to some may be a little "weak" but in the hands of a smart Hunter can take out a team of 6 with little to no effort. All depends on the play style

Arc blade is now annoying as blam. So glitchy.... Short stops, hit not registering etc I do like the mobility and quick draw though.

1 RispondiIt's probably my favorite class for pvp. I get spoiled with the QuickDraw perk, blink evading. The super is usually good for at least two kills with the third man helm. Good stuff. Only thing I would change is a damage buff in pve. But who seriously would use that over night stalker.

My thoughts on Arcblade? I don't use the sub-class anymore. Shadowshot for days.

It's hit damage should be increased since you need to get up close with your enemies and so it should one hit them.

I think a good buff would be to increase the damage arcblade does and significantly increase the agility when arcblade is active. I think it would help a lot.

1 RispondiI see no problem with it in pop, but in pve it falls pretty short. With the introduction of swords anyone can blade dance and what's worse do more damage. IMO bladedancer needs a damage buff, only hammer titans would notice it in pvp since its a one hit (maybe two if against super) on everyone else. But facing majors with this super doesn't make it feel super. Still I love it's other perks and use my sleeper can deal big damage.
