Playing Halo 5 made me realize: Destiny is better
I like Halo 5. Story was great. Multiplayer isn't too bad. Graphics in the cutscenes are great. But, having played so long, there's many things I took for granted in Destiny that really make it shine and make it the better shooter.
-Every time I jump in Halo, I keep expecting to triple jump or warlock jump up to high places.
- Every time I melee, I accidentally boost in a random direction due to green thumb controls.
- Every headshot I make never seems to register, nor do they feel like headshots. In Destiny I know when I've gotten a headshot.
- I keep trying to pull out my sparrow.
- I keep wanting to pull out my ghost in general.
- I mIss having my favorite weapons on me at any time.
- Healthbars. Crit-spots.
Just a few things that make me think that Destiny is much better at being a shooter than Halo 5. Don't get me wrong, Destiny isn't all-amazing, and Halo isn't bad, but just many things make me appreciate all the cool things Destiny has.

That being said, I still prefer Destiny for a few reasons. I like being able to see how much health an opponent has and I like seeing how much damage I do per shot. I know those are ultimately a quality of life feature and don't do much to affect gameplay, but there are some actual mechanics in Destiny that I find vastly superior. I like that it's harder to aim in the air in Destiny, it just makes sense to me. I also like, this is the big one, the variety of movement abilities each class has. You can tailor that to your playstyle and that's what I think really gives it the edge over Halo for me. Again, Halo is great, but I like Destiny more.

Halo is lame for 1 reason and 1 reason only, I have a ps4 ... There I said it ... It's out there now so get over it .... Lol, I kid,I kid, halo is fine, but I think what the op is trying to say is that all shooters are different, and after playing destiny for so long it takes time to switch to a new shooter.

4 RisposteYeah but Halo is in 60fps when I go back to Destiny it feels like a 360 game 30fps SUCKS thanks Bungie. They should have just made it for current gen. There is like 12 people that still play on old gen. They literally ruined the game by doing that

Dedicated servers are just so much better it's insane. No more dying when you get around a corner in time. No more post mortems that shouldn't have happened. Seriously destiny runs at a constant baseline level of lag that you have to get used. Hit registry is the worst I've ever seen in any game and is something to be mastered which is stupid as shit to begin with.

Edit: I hope I am not coming across like I hate halo 5, I do enjoy it, but not as much as destiny. I do not want to turn anyone away from the game without them forming their own opinion first. if you enjoy the game play it, if not don't. I don't want to be the one to tell someone that the thing they love is crap, saying that would be terrible of me or anyone else

I like Halo 5, but lets be real here. The ONLY good part of Halo is how balanced the MP is outside of Warzone. War Zone is the only decent way to rack up Req points as well to get certifications, armour, and weapons. ( Oh, but you can by them with real money! )

Competitive multiplayer running steady on a dedicated pretty much put destiny in the ground for me. Pvp and my friends list was the only reason i was still around really

Most of those seem like personal preference things rather than there being one definitive winner. Halo 5 has hit markers, too. You just gotta pay a little more attention. Its not a number, its a little 'x'.

Well let's be fair here as halo and destiny are completely different games. The only thing that makes them similar is that you play a character in armor that shots aliens in order to save the human race. That said I enjoyed halo 5s story immensely. The gameplay was more fast paced than previous halo games that was complemented by some new agility moves. I haven't touched PvP yet I'll jump on that later today. My only gripe is that the team AI is garbage or maybe I'm expecting too much and commands need to be better implemented like star wars commando. In conclusion I'll still play both.
