I like Halo 5. Story was great. Multiplayer isn't too bad. Graphics in the cutscenes are great. But, having played so long, there's many things I took for granted in Destiny that really make it shine and make it the better shooter.
-Every time I jump in Halo, I keep expecting to triple jump or warlock jump up to high places.
- Every time I melee, I accidentally boost in a random direction due to green thumb controls.
- Every headshot I make never seems to register, nor do they feel like headshots. In Destiny I know when I've gotten a headshot.
- I keep trying to pull out my sparrow.
- I keep wanting to pull out my ghost in general.
- I mIss having my favorite weapons on me at any time.
- Healthbars. Crit-spots.
Just a few things that make me think that Destiny is much better at being a shooter than Halo 5. Don't get me wrong, Destiny isn't all-amazing, and Halo isn't bad, but just many things make me appreciate all the cool things Destiny has.

1 RispondiEverytime I play Halo 5, -I get confused I don't own an Xbox. Or halo 5. -some random guy starts cussing in another language -he keeps trying to shoot me -the russian cops are here I want my ps4 back. Someone bring me home
-
3 RisposteYou can like destiny over halo, but the reasons you stated do not support your opinion in that it's just that you're too used to the mechanics of destiny compared to halo
-
1 RispondiGrunt birthday party doesn't satisfy your headshot love? Shame.
-
1 RispondiI kept trying to dance lmao.
-
2 RisposteFor trying to pull out ghost and sparrow that's not a thing you took for granted, that's just a thing you get used to when playing Destiny.
-
3 RisposteSo because you play destiny a lot, you don't like halo? Great logic.
-
Ok I own both halo and destiny for ps4 and Xbox one they are different games but I completely understand where you are coming from it does make me miss destiny a bit but at the same time it's halo like that's what every halo has been and it's very classic but yes destinys mechanics are more up to date and for those defending halo it clearly has things destiny doesn't however crucible maps are bigger and better halos arena is ehh war zone is wonderful but deff still a halo game but agreed destiny is a bit more complex
-
1 RispondiOverall I like Halo 5. But yea, I wish it has health bars over enemies. And the weapons don't give much feedback on the damage done either. Also, one reason Destiny is better, Hunters are waaaaaaaaay easier to kill here than in Halo 5.
-
2 RisposteComparing halo to destiny is like comparing a jalepeno to a cucumber...they are both the same color but completely different.
-
Modificato da pandatheace: 11/1/2015 9:04:13 PMI'm having a fallout : ) in destiny because of halo Too fun can't wait to fallout of halo on the 10th
-
That doesn't mean the games better?.. that means you're more used to playing destiny than halo 5 lol
-
Maybe the fact that it's a whole different game?
-
Well, its Bungie, they certainly know how to make a shooter.
-
4 RisposteHave not played the new one yet. Never played much Halo before. Just some. Does the game have the feature of aiming down the sights? That is also I think one of the key features like the others you mentioned. It is little things but the old days of constantly hip fire just don't appeal to me.
-
I play Halo and destiny and my aim is not off at all
-
3 RisposteTitle fix:
Playing Halo 5 made me realize: I play too much Destiny
-
2 RisposteI agree with most people here. Your not saying facts as to why one game is better than the other. Your only stating habits that you can't break when going to a new game. Of course it's going be different.
-
You lie Halo is way better
-
So because you can't have magic space jumps, drive around on a sparrow or play without auto aim destiny is better? Maybe you should just stick with destiny kiddo
-
4 RisposteModificato da ZeroCool: 11/1/2015 6:52:08 PMLMFAO!!!!! I got Halo 5 and realized how bad destiny is. You not landing headshots in Halo 5 is your inability to aim properly and most likely due to being an inferior PvP player anyways, lacking even the most basics of standard combat and movement drills associated in FPS's. The reason why you land headshots in destiny is because most weapons have a huge aim assist. Remember, destiny was built for the casual gamer, casual gamers do not play hardcore PvP, therefore anything that helps like "Aim Assist" is for you guys, unfortunately you overal general skills in PvP for other games dimishes. You've been fooled. Destiny PvP is for those breaking into the PvP scene for the first time and want training wheels.
-
Destiny actually made me a worse Halo player because I became so used to the massive hit boxes on top of the massive aim assist that is associated with Destiny. I am happy for the people, like OP, that enjoy Destiny, but I can't even will myself to login anymore after playing Halo.
-
1 RispondiTL;DR: OP sucks at Halo, can't find real reasons Destiny is better, lists some anyways.

26 RisposteDestiny multiplayer is a joke. Let's be honest here, destiny is a scrub friendly game. Everything about destiny screams unbalanced. It's just a very frustrating game from the horrible connections to the endless grind for shit rewards. After a couple of hours into halo I took a break from it to play trials, and I realized how much destiny Sucked. All the aim assist and op weapons have made me into a horrible halo player, and playing destiny after halo felt like I was having my hand held.
-
Bump I played about 20 mins and clicked my Destiny app.
-
3 RisposteThis post is a joke.

4 RisposteHalo is pay to win now I'm sad.
