Ur right about one thing though sodium chloride is table salt but its not chlorine and salt like you said. That would kill someone lol

You were much more correct than him but not entirely correct while typical table salt is NaCl with iodine and other additives a salt can actually be other similar compounds as well however sodium is not salt it is a singular element
