Who actually uses the "lock" ability
I never really knew what it did except not allow you to slip up and dismantle the wrong item, unless there is another use for it why did Bungie make it lol

I abuse it. The moment I get class specific items, like the weapons, I put them on lock.

I've never felt the need to use it. I'd prefer the lock to be used for mass dismantling instead of protecting items

Well when I left my controller over a certain SUROS Regime and just so happened to be on the button to dismantle, yeah that's why.

Remember all those 6 year olds crying that they accidentally dismantled ghorn? They made the lock to shut them up amd thats it

"Bungie doesn't listen to their community" After hundreds of complaints about their items getting deleted by accident, Bungie finally adds item locking, one of the most useful and overlooked additions in the game

Bungie made it to stop "my dog stepped on my square/X button for 10 seconds and dismantled my Gjallarhorn. Can I have another?" posts. It's good if you have things you don't want to accidentally infuse. I use it for the blue guns I save for gunsmith bounties.

It's a very useful ability if you love weapons and don't want them deleted by accident.

I accidentally infused raid gear to something else because I locked what I wanted to infuse and didn't bother looking, locking it would've prevented that which is nice if you're being dumb like myself

2 RisposteI used too but I am upgrading everything I pick up. So right now it's annoying. Once in I start plateau out I'll start locking.
