Who actually uses the "lock" ability
I never really knew what it did except not allow you to slip up and dismantle the wrong item, unless there is another use for it why did Bungie make it lol

I broke down my AE once, i was hurt 😢 Yes it was shit but my element primary set was no longer complete. I got it back next VoG run though. I lock all now.

I am very quick about dismantling so this helps me a lot when it came to keeping things I love having.

Old buddy of mine deleted his vog gauntlets while he was 30, he was 29 for a month after that. He would of loved the lock option ay the time.

I'm not attached to some items in anyway. I dismantled my 310 boltcaster for weapon parts, my 305 thunderlord for weapon parts, etc. haha

I use it. Never know you might accidentally infuse the wrong thing if you have multiples of that item.

You can't use a locked weapon to infuse another weapon.

Listen. One time I was very tired and was going to close Destiny and ended up deleting on accident. I will take every precaution so I don't mess up.

Bungie made it because there were a lot of people that would bring up topics like "my 4yr old daughter accidentally deleted all my weapons because she liked hearing the sound it made" etc. and now that infusion has come into play it prevents people from dismantling the wrong weapon/armor

I lock everything halfway decent because if I need marks or to infuse a new gun, I'm liable to absentmindedly start melting down the first legendary I see.

Locked items cant be infused into other items. To prevent people like me from f-ing up.

1 RispondiI lock everything. Not that I'm expecting to "accidentally" dismantle one of my prizes exotics by holding the dismantle button down for 15 years but I still do it anyways

I accidentally dismantled a 313 Shotgun I wanted to infuse into my Vortex from FWC, I was tired & made a mistake, lock feature is great, use it & you won't have this sad story (On a happy note the next week I got a 310 4th Horseman from a Legendary engram & infused into my Vortex so all worked out)

I lock everything valuable. I dismantled a pair of raid boots back when the Dark Below released so I know the pain of accidentally dismantling the wrong stuff. Never again.

Always on items I know I want to keep. The last thing I want is to be tired or come home from drinks with friends and accidentally dismantle or infuse that one thing I enjoy using or needed.
