more people watching Destiny than Halo5. why?
more people are watching streams of Destiny than Halo a game that came out a few days ago. why is Destiny more popular than Halo?
by the way even console exclusives like until dawn and bloodborne remained very popular for at least a few weeks. why aren't people watching Halo streams?

Halo 5 got really stale, really quickly. By destiny's nature, it is a game you can always come back to.

Well, maybe this statement will sum it up for you as why Destiny is more popular than most games right now. "OMG GUYZ DENSITY IS FINALLY OUT OF BETA -blam!- YAAA LET'S PLAY DIS SHIT!" This is why.

Destiny is a social game. It fits well with streams because it invites participation. RNG plays well with the medium as it allows the streamer up and down moments to celebrate or bemoan. Even if you just do the same crap everyday, at least weapon rewards vary. As much as the game compels people to play, Twitch is a nice substitute for when they can't play. At this point, I find many of the Twitch streamers entertaining and watch some even when they aren't in Destiny.

Same reason destiny is usually over call of duty, it's not a decade+ old formula rehashed game after game with few additions.

There are more Ps4 players than Xbox players. Halo is an Xbox exclusive. Some people were dissatisfied with the last Halo game and might be waiting to see if this one is worth the $$$.
