You've mentiond two weapons with unique perks. Why don't you tell us about the unique perks on the other 20 odds raid weapons?

Full auto on found verdict and VoC. Mini bombs on hezen vengeance. Timepiece had secret round and headseeker. All of these were if not totally unique then very rare. Firefly could be on all sniper rifles and scouts, hell there was a scout you could buy from a vendor that had it. Only fatebringer was unique and full auto wasn't what was good about VOC. You can get all of that now anyway and the kingsfall raid weapons have unique perks that no other weapons have - extra damage to taken and cocoon. So really, what's your issue?

Previous raid guns were since most of the perks were unique or not readily available at the time. Now raid guns are not. You can try to revise the history as much as you want. But those guns were good and if not good at least interesting Edit: also full auto on VoC was fun. Remember fun?

The raid weapons for kingsfall are completely unique weapons. All the other raid weapons prior were just reskins (vog brown...crotas end had a bit of hive growth added). I don't have the perk listings for the other raid weapons to hand in order to cross refer them to the current perk options for weapons outside of the raid. So really, the raid weapons are more unique than we've ever seen.

That is down to preference though which is fair enough. I don't think that you can say they're not as unique as other raid weapons have been in the past because that's simply not true. If anything they're more unique than ever. The issue here is that you don't like them, which is up to you of course. I don't really like them either.

It does come down to preference. I don't think cocoon is that useful. I liked goofy perks that blinded wizards. And I feel that making perks variable on raid guns was a bad move. We can just disagree I guess

Yes the wizard perk was alright but situational, not to mention the weapon itself wasn't particularly good. Cocoon is good on a primary certainly. I'm not really convinced about it on other stuff apart from maybe the machine gun. It does help for sustained DPS though. Empty the mag on one, swap to a weapon, empty the mag on that and swap back to a full mag without reloading.

Sure. Word of Crota has phantom gift. Fang of ir yut marked targets. Light of the abyss had super fast charge rate (not unique but was best in class). Black hammer needs no introduction. Song of ir yut wasn't special really. And hunger had tracking plus cluster bomb

You don't get it. At the tine they were one of a kind perks. The point is, these raid weapons all have the same nee perk and then a generic added on.

The pulse rifle can have firefly. No other pulse has that. Could go further into the others but I don't have all their perk listings to hand but there is one straight away. Not to mention the weapon designs are COMPLETELY unique. Are the other raid weapons like that? Closest we got were the crota ones which were just normal weapon skins that had a bit of hive growth added to them.

Triple tap was introduced after phantom Gift. Two guns out 100 being able to penetrate the shield is still unique. And you ignored black hammer and hunger. Plus the VoG weapons had unique perks at the time.
