infinite ammo, save sniper for ogres, kill ad's while in aura, good dps. Seems like the best weapon for daughters / oryx. Obviously other weapons work but why not use the best if you have it ?

The gun itself is kinda bad. I hate the stability. It's only any use for oryx and the daughters.

It's good in the immortality auras in the raid to do extra damage otherwise I don't see it being useful in other situations

I infused mine, got another on, made it 300, and leveled it up.

Theres a rumor reload is gonna be tough in hardmode, And wat r u gonna do if oryx can only be dmged by tom in hardmode? I mean its a quest weapon that can only be had by killing him.

Touch is the new gally. Only people without confidence in the group they've built require it. I have confidence I can remove trolls who refuse to improve and can teach new raiders to kill a boss without it... Why? Because I've been doing it

For this reason, while I can accomplish most all tasked without a special weapon in this game, I want to use ToM for daughters and Oryx to maximize my DPS and push boss health down faster because of it. You don't need it and people shouldn't require it, but I feel as though my mentality of making your situation the best it possible can be for success is what most are driving for on day one of hard mode. Therefore, an inordinate amount of people will want ToM and Black Spindle along with higher light levels.

1 RispondiSimple it has more dps than anything else at daughters and oryx and its not close. Also for oryx you can save your sniper ammo for ogres and heavy for echo.

1 RispondiIt's not needed (at least not for normal,on hard it remains to be seen) It's actually quite overkill for the normal raid and simply speeds up the boss fights tremendously. It helped out greatly when only 1 of us had ToM, now that we've got half the team rocking them the last 2 bosses are a bit of a snoozefest.

Hah, yes. The irrefutable truth. If you need to accomplish an activity without a special weapon in order to attain said special weapon, then you never needed said special weapons in order to accomplish said activity. Ergo, you don't need Touch of Malice to complete the normal mode raid. Hard raid mode may be different, but right now now own but Bungie knows.

1 RispondiPeople are so hung up on this. Spindle too. On one end, you see that it takes much team work to get spindle. It takes much team work to complete kf. You must have beaten kf to obtain tom. Explanation will not be necessary every 10 minutes for kf if you have tom. On another side, you have to have beaten the raid without tom to get it. Nobody required fir you to have tom then so why now? Tom only makes a few parts easier. Spindle only makes a few parts easier. Personally I can see wanting a player to have obtained spindle/tom for reassurance of skill but they are absolutely not required. My preferred exotic is dark drinker. Ha. I use a tt, extended mag eirene rr4 and do the same damage as my fire team members with spindle. I use last extremity or hung jury for primary. Both have tt/extended mag. Never a problem.
