Can't jump in raid!!!
Anyone else have problem with hive jump ships puzzle. I can't do it no matter how much I try. Maybe some people just don't have that capability. Does this mean I should be locked from raid gear?
I don't think so. I wish someone could post a guide or something

If it's really an issue that you need help with and feel that you are being locked from content then you should be asking for one of those patient sherpas. Many say that they help just about anyone and everyone. Not sure if the exceedingly kind ones actually exist but it's worth a try. Might want to create a new post to get their attention.

1 Rispondia warlock should be able to do any of those jumping puzzles with 0 agility and still complete it... Hunters are usually the ones getting gimped at certain points.

5 RisposteYou CAN do it. You DO have the capability. It's meant to be hard. It's NOT impossible. Keep trying, keep practicing, work harder. You'll eventually surprise even yourself. You'll never get anywhere by just saying you're incapable of doing it.

Max out your agility in whatever class you are rolling, equip a weapon the grants +2 agility.

2 RisposteI only tried raid once but super sucks at the jump. I was able to find a team but they sped through the jump and I failed a couple times. They had me leave and invited me back. Find a group that will sit there for a few while you try. The first half is t bad. The second got me. Lol

2 RisposteYeah some people can do it quick but some people just take forever to do it lol I did it quicker on my warlock but sucked when using Hunter lol

Hunter - Agility + Triple Jump + Bones of Eoa Titan - Agility + Increased Control Warlock - Agility + Balanced Glide If anyone can do it with Blink, post a video that would be more awesome than soloing Crota.

2 RisposteJust skip it. Noone will care, just ask for an invite back to the raid. Make sure you get the invite b4 you leave if you are not in a party. Or skip the chest...just have your teamates go ahead of you. You will be teleported. Or... is that considered a checkpoint? Could you go in solo until you can figure it out?

1 RispondiHahahah really? Alright ao I'm sure you can get to the first checkpoint so I'll describe the only semi difficult jump in the second part. Duck under the first ship, stay near the back left of the ship you're on, jump straight up as high as you can and barely push forward. Most any classes jumps will make it this way with good agility and a high jump type on

After jumping on the first ship look right and jump on the ship coming from that direction. Next on will come from the right also and cut directly in front and or underneath the one your on and move to the left. Next one is the left. From here you can reach the platform checkpoint in normal. Then there will be a ship that spawns right in front of the platform heading towards the exit. Jump on. Next ship is coming from the left. Once on duck the first ship that comes, jump on the next one coming from right, then look towards the exit and another ship will be coming straight at you. Jump on it and face the entrance for the next ship. Then jump on the last ship which comes from the left and your done. [spoiler]off the top of my head from memory so it may be slightly off[/spoiler]

Try and get a checkpoint of someone then can practice them on ur own.

1 RispondiTry holding sword....gives u better camera to see what your toon is doing... Also u can use your super once to get out of trouble.. If on hunter I use blade dancer with the higher double jump and save super to get to chest ledge

1 RispondiAgreed. I would like to know how fellow guardians improve thier jumping skills? The ones I raid with are like gazelles hopping everywhere with pinpoint precision while I bounce off walls to my death. :-(

1 RispondiPro tip: do the first part of the raid, grab checkpoint, switch characters. Go back to first character and PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT.

2 RisposteModificato da hailstone12: 10/23/2015 3:16:47 PMIt's honestly not as much the agility, though agility definitely helps, but it's more of just timing your jumps, especially on warlock and Titan since the height they can achieve is based on the 2nd jump. Best advice I can give is that height matters more than distance. Make sure you jump early enough to be able to make it above the platform, most of the time you'll be moving towards the next ship, so your already forward momentum from the ship you are on will help you get the distance. I can do it on all 3 characters no issue, and my agility isn't even maxed on 2 when I do it, only my hunter since I normally run maxed agility. Just double tap X/A if on a Titan or warlock, to get maximum height, or time your jumps on your hunter so that you are at the highest point before the next jump. EDIT: Another alternative is to go get Super Meat Boy (free on PS4 at the moment) and beat it. If you still can't make the jumping puzzles then, then I don't know what to tell you.
