I've played since after dark below but before HoW (honestly don't remember when I bought the game) I've gotten loads of hours of entertainment from it but have to agree, the taken king was a bit overpriced. $40 was a bit much for the content we got, 10 story missions (? Don't know exactly and don't care enough to count) 3 new strikes and a raid. I paid $30 for the season pass to get TDB and HoW. I don't know how much that added to the base game(wasn't around then) but I'm pretty willing to bet it was more than a dozen story missions 3 strikes and a raid. So armed with that information I think I can say [i]in my opinion[/i] the taken king was overpriced. Will I continue to play? Duh, I already shelled out the $40 and until something else comes out that entertains me as well as this does I will play it (or until I get so tired of the grind that I finally just say screw this).

Let's be real. Destiny is a $40 video game. If you go ham the first week of release and get burnt out then that's your fault. If you want weeks/months worth of content, play a game like world of Warcraft and pay the $200-$250 a year. When it's all said and done you get what you pay for.

In the end every critic gives thier opinion. I didnt watch because from the comments he talks about how ttk wasnt worth 40 dollars. That is his opinion and we should respect his opinion because it isnt a fact nor a truth to everyone.

This is were the conglomerate of children who think it's cool to consistently waste their own time telling people who enjoy a game not to support the game. Please take your post and create your own forum, take all of your whiny annoying irrelevant 'criticism' and leave it to people who know how to give real criticism without constantly claiming it's not worth it.

3 RisposteBdobbins actually speaks a bit of truth though. I love Destiny and play quite a bit on a daily basis, between work, the girlfriend and a sort-of social life (lol). Destiny nor it's mega-expansion isn't perfect. Let's break it down ok? Firstly, one of the main new elements are the addition of taken enemies. But i literally cannot think of a single taken enemy that isn't just a literal reskin of a current in-game enemy. They're cool and all, don't get me wrong, their new-found taken abilities really change up gameplay, and the idea of oryx being able to randomly pluck an enemy out of existence and then repurpose them for his own bidding really helps to sell oryx as something to fear, but let's be realists - they're the same enemies. Secondly, were re-revisiting areas; Vault of glass? Rasputin's bunker? How many times are we going to retread these areas? The mission 'Entropy's pinnacle' is literally just the final mission of 'House of Wolves' where you capture Skolas. There's more but my lunch break is over, lol. I'm not hating but seriously, when you think about it, really analyse the re-using of content, you start to see why the expansion doesn't feel like a £40 well invested. Yes I said forty POUND sterling (remember when UK players were getting f*cked with the international pricing?) And I get that price is relative, it's worth whatever you're willing to pay for it, but Bungie are well aware of this, that's why they're asking for £3.99 to dance like Carlton.

Good video. Don't let any of these fools who can't take any form of logical criticism of any kind about the game they play get to you. They don't see the potential of this game and never will. They will settle for bare minimum every time and accept Destiny's shortcomings as standard.
