Should I try Fallout?
Fallout has sounded interesting to me for a while now. Should I get New Vegas and try it out? And if I should, then could you vets give me some tips for when I do?

If you enjoy a good rpg with a decent story then yes. There is a lot of go here get/kill that, and a lot of dialogue. There are also multiple bugs, and glitches but this is a given with Bethesda games, especially if you mod it. The game is as difficult as you want it to be, and there are hundreds of side quests. New Vegas is much better than 3, but they are both a fantastic experience.

New Vegas is a great game to start with. Here is some advice: Beware death claws and Cazadors.

I would highly recommend it, although there isn't really a particular storyline to all of them. They're just amazing games. If you get New Vegas, I'd recommend heading right towards Primm after Goodsprings. Going right towards New Vegas will get your ass killed in a heartbeat. Also, explore everything. The game is massive, and you will more than likely find some hidden items and quests if you explore thoroughly.

7 RisposteYou should. If you get it with Xbox you get a free copy of fallout 3. You do not need to play previous fallout games to understand the story.

7 RisposteFallout is an amazing game. It's NOT multiplayer though wich some people don't like. I highly recommend it. Every fallout game. I been playing since fallout 1 for pc. I would most def consider myself a fallout vet

Yes, especially as 4 is coming out soon, its a good single-player first/third person shooter set after a nuclear war. Try it, you might like it.

New Vegas is excellent, though console versions (especially PS3) suffer from technical issues. If you get it, be sure to get the Ultimate Edition.

5 RisposteFUVK YES GET NEW VEGAS, get all the dlcs too, they are freakin great. I disliked Blood Money the most, but even that one had an amazing story to it. Do yourself a favor and get it.

I too been following the hype train. I have to decide if this is the game that makes me upgrade my system. My first initial thought is no for right now till I can get a chance to sit down and watch some gameplay. I can say this, I don't think I ever heard anyone say anything bad about the fallout series. That's why I'm interested.

Yes get fallout 3 and new Vegas!! They're not connected with 4 but they're just so good you gotta get them. Then get fallout 4 in November
