Cheating
So. This little hunter glitch. It needs to stop now. People who are willing to use it iron banner especially right now. Need to be banned permanently. For example. Our team was up by bout 5000 then all of a sudden. Two hunters on the opposite team used the hunter glitch over and over and over and over and over again. To where all of a sudden they're catching up. Not only is our team getting constantly tethered. But it is also supplying orbs for their team to basically super left and right. I realize this being fixxed here soon. But for you players out there. Just because it is a glitch. It is still cheating even more if you do it in competitive gameplay. Just don't do it. You do not need to cheat to play and win against other players. Play honestly and fairly guys. It is not hard to do.

44 RisposteAs unfair as it is, it's not cheating. It's a program error being exploited. Bungie has posted a fix on the way soon. They can't be banned for using something Bungie included in the game, intentionally or by mistake.

4 Rispostecheating is modifying your network settings to have an advantage over others. physically altering something outside of the game. if it's in the game and you choose to use it as an advantage that's your choice. but, asking to ban people for using a control in the game is just dumb. get over it people, it's getting fixed anyways!

Had an IB game where we were completely dominating the other team. Early in the game we were 9000-3000. Up by 6000 points. They had THREE Nightstalkers on their team. As the game progressed they ALL started using that SS glitch. They were so hard to take out. Our team kept the lead but barely. They kept creating orbs after orbs for their team and then their teammates used their supers on us. Over and over again. Now we were fighting to keep the lead. It was going back and forth and back and forth. After we take out two of the Nightstalkers a minute later low and behold they were spamming the SS glitch again and their entire team had supers again. They came back and won. We only lost by 600 points or less. Literally, they were BAD in EVERY. SINGLE. WAY. The only reason they won was because the last half of the entire game they kept spamming the SS glitch. It was the dumbest shit I've ever seen. We should've won that. I'm not even salty. Their combat skills were terrible and we were winning by a landslide during the game and that's a fact. We had the momentum and everything during that game. I'm telling you, they should have NOT won that game but they did because of, you guessed it, the SS glitch. It's such bs. I reported the hunters that were using it in that match. People are abusing the shit out of this glitch. Orbs and tethers everywhere. It's mayhem but on steroids.

The solution is simple, roll in a group of 6 nightstalkers :)

When all a player is doing is exploiting something that was made available to them through a game and not modding it its really the designers fault till they patch it. But I do agree it's a shytty way to play and people shouldn't but I say the lag switchers are still the biggest problem they need to be stopped and ban completely for trying to influence how the game is played with constant connection speed changes and not just exploiting a mistake developers made

They said in the weekly update that they would "disable" this cheat for ToO, but why not for IB too? If they can't disable it for IB, then issue a stern warning about temp bans for the cheaters that are using it, and then ban some of them as a deterrence to the rest of the cheaters...
