Cheating
So. This little hunter glitch. It needs to stop now. People who are willing to use it iron banner especially right now. Need to be banned permanently. For example. Our team was up by bout 5000 then all of a sudden. Two hunters on the opposite team used the hunter glitch over and over and over and over and over again. To where all of a sudden they're catching up. Not only is our team getting constantly tethered. But it is also supplying orbs for their team to basically super left and right. I realize this being fixxed here soon. But for you players out there. Just because it is a glitch. It is still cheating even more if you do it in competitive gameplay. Just don't do it. You do not need to cheat to play and win against other players. Play honestly and fairly guys. It is not hard to do.

63 Rispostehow is it cheating if the game allows it? sure, it is OP. We already know its being fixed. if a player has a chance to be better, why not take it? Bungee are the ones that are to blame, not the players.

I main a hunter but I agree this glitch is stupid. As good as it is in pve it needs to be patched. I sadly can't do it (not that I'd use it in pvp if I could) but it makes farming bosses a lot more easy.

After all, real skill comes from a player. Not the weapons or supers. But. Alas. I'll get attacked cause I main a titan who isn't 1.0 KD and despite having a formal education ranging from military roots to offshore to now, I'll be considered stupid. So I'll just reply to any stupidity by telling anyone, "Screw you." Enjoy it while it lasts...

4 RisposteIt's bungie fault they left a bug in the game it's up to them to fix it. No titans got banned for using hammer glitch same goes for hunters. I do not agree with the exploit obviously but it will be exploited and people won't get banned.

It's been a while since I've seen this level of constant cheating in a "AAA" game. Basically evey third or fourth match I run into, at the very least, a lag switcher (my first two tries at Trials were lagtastic Hunters parties). IB only makes it worse. Ultimately it's serious problem, but I can't help but chuckle from time to time at the antics.

My kd went down because of this glitch and I'm a hunter but because of some misplaced sense of honor I've never used the glitch. Ban these hunters now! They shame us all!

It seems to be far harder to do, the game starts the battle starts to go badly and you start trowing arrows like there is no end to it. So far once every 3 games you find a group using it. Its a cheat when you need a helmet, go to the inventory during your special for a refresh on its duration and number of shots. The hammers was just using the special and smashing the buttons, this one actively makes you go to the inventory. Its not like " i wanted to use a consumable during the pvp fight, yes ones of those that don't work in pvp fights". The strange thing is the feeling that reporting amounts to nothing, this thing ruins the game for the involved groups, getting a trashing from a team is normal, getting a shadow shot filled field its another. Time for the hammer to hit and i don't mean the Sol one.

I get why you hate it, and I haven't used it, but I understand the temptation to infinitely shoot arrows and destroy people, especially given all the tension that has erupted from shotgunners and the HoS in pvp.

1 RispondiFor those who believe this is not cheating... Exploiting a glitch to gain an unintended, and unfair, advantage IS CHEATING. That is exactly how all game companies view it. No one will say, sure, export that glitch while you can. If you can't resist the temptation of cheating, then be prepared to face the consequences.

5 RisposteI came in to a game in progress, Iron Banner. There was a 4 man fireteam and I was joining as the 5th, so even with me joining we were a man down. The team I was coming in to join was losing bad (of course) as soon as I spawned, I saw two hunters on my team constantly shadowshotting. Between shots you could see the 3 little dots for a second, and then a couple more shots. They had it timed so that they were alternating, one shooting kinda closer and the other one shooting further to make it really difficult to get a shot on them. The titan and warlock on our team were camping within the tethers range, using them for cover. It was ridiculous. I play a hunter and don't even use the quiver perk because I think a longer range and duration is more effective. I reported them for cheating then ran up to the other team constantly letting them kill me just to get the match over with quicker without quitting. I'm guessing that they started tether glitching once they started losing badly.
