Here is the thing.
My favorite class is the Titan, and there is no denial that, in year one, titans were irrelevant on PvP. Our supers were great on PvE. Defenders Ward of Dawn worked miracles on raids and other activities. But on PvP, on anything but Control, it was useless. Fist of Havoc were a extremely inefficient super, the only use were the infamous "panic fist".
Now we finnaly have a time based super that can kill multiple targets, just like bladedancers and gunslingers, and people wanna take this away from us? Don't!
Hunters have their OP classes that can kill you in a fraction of a second since day one. If you guys nerf sunbreakers, you have to nerf bladedancers and gunslingers too.
And weren't supers supposed to be extremelly strong? That's why you can't use it all the time!
Bungie, some people say that you guys hate titans, please don't prove them right. Let us titans have this one!
-
Strikers were irrelevant?
-
3 RisposteIrrelevant in PvP? Man, that statement just goes to show how shit you must be.
-
1 RispondiI'm sorry but you are a bad titan if you think striker super is shit, plus it only gets fist of panic rep from bad titans who don't use it properly. Playing my titan in year one I loved it more than hunters and warlocks Because striker was so damn awesome and effective.
-
They should nerf the armor a bit, AND GIVE US MORE HAMMERS
-
2 RisposteIf you want to be like a gunslinger then fine, Bungie should take all your armor and health regeneration away and only give you 3 non tracking/exploding hammers. There now you're the same... Clearly it's not the same, I can't wipe a whole fire team with dancer or golden gun...
-
Either b8, or bad. Begging to stay op forever.
-
I just use titan smash and counter the sunbreakers no nerf needed or ill just light them up with invective
-
2 RisposteScrub can't use a bubble in pvp? Or your smash plus lightning grenades? Hold your crutch dearly while it lasts fagget
-
9 RisposteSo lets look at this: First u say that Titans where useless? I don't want to remember how many times I was killed by a fist of havoc while casting my hunters super. Only PVE? Hunters where irrelevant in PVE! Just look at the facts: 1) Hunters can't one hit sunbreakers not even with the golden gun 2) Sunbreakers can one hit bladedancers and gunslingers 3) Gunslingers have a normal health stat and no health gen, bladedancers can be easily outgunned or just avoided 4) Sunbreakers have more health then Bladedancers , instant health regeneration 5) Hunters have max. 4 shots fired straight on a line with an huge accuracy fall of 6) Sunbreakers don't have a straight line but can throw up to 10 hammers all one hiting in a nearly straight line with proximity on the hammers that is as big as the thruths ones 7) Sunbreakers can deal a more effective effect on bosses for more damage by just punishing them then Hunters with their super. 8) Hunters jump is much more difficult to control while aiming for example with the golden gun and u don't have proximity 9) Sunbreakers have an easy to control jump and have a huge blast radius on their super So now tell me that the Hunter is OP and give my good reasons for that and I'll give you my account and quit Destiny
-
Here we go..."I feel X was OP, so now I should be OP" Most idiotic, hypocritical defense ever to your position. Let the river of titan tears flow
-
I actually like the sunbreakers, it just adds something extra to the game. Each time I hear a CLANG I am like where the fk is he? Is it the enemy sunbreaker or ours? And as soon as I see him, I just run for my life, it's kinda fun.
call me crazy
-
Striker class is actually very good at pvp but, depends how you play it..
-
Sunbreakers aren't op because of how many hammers they can throw, its the fact that they won't die even with 2-3 people using entire mags. Bladedancers you can kill pretty quick, same for gunslingers.
-
Please nerf everything so you need to land 100 shots for a kill. I would like to see the matches last several hours each.
-
I'd be fine with HoS but they shouldn't get health regen on kills. Also I did fine with striker in year one. Shoulder charge and lightning grenades and a super I could activate instantly and get 2+ kills or cancel out someone else's super
-
You really don't need that much damage resistance.
-
Irrelevant in PvP? I can't even begin to count the times I've seen striker Titans completely dominate my face with Fist of Panic. And in Trials the defender Titan completely clutched the middle zone. Sunbreakers need a nerf. There is no reason the DR is that high.

Destiny is first and foremost a pve game. While I like balance in pvp play I never have agreed with games of any kind nerfing a class for pvp that negatively impacts pve. A nerf here is bad for pve
-
They nerfed arcblade into the ground a long time ago
-
3 Risposte
I'll say it before and I'll say it again. The only viable change I'd make to Hammer of Sol is changing it from third-person perspective to first-person perspective. Sunbreakers simply move too fast, have too much health, and their hammers have too much range and blast radius and one-hit kill potential AND to have them be able to quickly turn the camera, know where you are and throw a hammer without even facing you?! Nah son. First-person wouldn't solve all problems but it'd put more factors into Hammer of Sol like getting used to the hammers arc throw and have to only ever see what's directly in front of you like the other ranged super, GG and titans would have to be quicker at acquiring targets while turning in first-person all the while still having to aim their hammers more accurately. So no changes to the hammers. No changes to health. Just make Hammer of Sol first-person. Pretty reasonable for everyone no?
-
3 RisposteThey have wayyyy too much health and too many hammers.. Maybe have it like golden gun where u get the 3 to 4 preset hammers throws and have health similar to a blade dancer. The only problem I have is that I can't snipe them regardless and as soon as they kill someone they get health regen which is incredibly OP

There are a lot of tricks with the new sun breaker class like sunspots. Sunspots can grant an over-shield to them & kill enemies if they are too close. With that beginning said all a titan has to do is step in s sunspot to regain an over-shield. At the start of the super they can get a sunspot as well. Is it over powered ? Yes but it would be balanced if blade dancer wasn't nerfed at all. Shadow shot needs s bit more tweaking for activation/response time to actually tether an enemy efficiency. The armor on hunter is nice since the new hunter subclass is mainly sticking to the shadows for support. As for warlocks they can get an armor buff with there super maybe a damage buff but it can be a stretch. The warlock subclass can be aggressive and be support. Maybe the closer you are to the stromcaller the more damage it does? That could be an idea. If bungie is listening sometimes a nerf is not necessary for one subclass but a bit of reworking the on the other subclasses would help. Because let's face it usually any gaming company not just bungie that decides to nerd something guess what happens, NOBODY is going to uses it anymore.
-
My feeling is not a nerf on armor. I think you should only have 3 hammers with either the option as a perk for tracking or 2 more hammers.
-
I agree. The only thing that could make the whiners stop is if it had a slight nerf to the health boost you get. Other than that it's perfectly fine.
-
Just because you weren't relevant in y1 doesn't mean you should be op in y2
-
If you don't think that the Sunbreaker super with the proper spec is over powered in pvp you're obviously on something. It makes you tougher than a radiance warlock, gives you range 1 hit kills like golden gun, but more than 3 or even 4 "shots" and don't forget the biggest problem, it regens life when you kill someone with what is essentially the equivalent of a rocket. It's literally absurd.
