Banned for Bungies mess up?
Are people actually being banned for Bungies mistake in how the quiver perk on shadow shot is broken. "Oh your a cheating noob!" Let me stop you right there friend, It's fun to use outside of pvp and that doesn't hurt anyone. Sure it's not fair and shouldn't be done but being banned for it is even more unfair. How bout fix your game before banning ppl for such an easy exploit.
Edit: just to clarify, I myself Haven't been banned. Probably because I don't abuse this in pvp. So moving on. I'm asking since I don't personally know of any cases. "Are people actually being banned for bungies mistake?" And why?

Everybody's quick to defend the crucible breaking super while my dumb ass was spamming Titan hammers on the moon in pve. Cut the shit. Bungie made a mess up and you're abusing the mess up in PVP. If that's not cheating, I'll be glad to hear how the HoS glitch was. There's a damn thread for uploading clips of those nerds using it.

You go ahead and use it as much as you want in pve and I don't think anyone will bat an eye. Take it into pvp and you deserve to be restricted from that mode.

What's the problem with banning people who exploit a glitch/bug in the game to ruin the experience of others? Anyway, I don't think Bungie are banning for this, they're just working to fix it ASAP.

3 RisposteIf someone is losing or so bad that they have to exploit a glitch/bug then they deserve to be banned. If your excuse is the more you use the bug in pvp the faster bungie will fix it you deserve to be banned. If you try and troll people in pvp with bug you deserve to be banned. If you say its in the game mechanics so they cant ban us and proceed to use it in pvp you deserve to be banned. If you actively know and exploit a bug, glitch, network, etc.. you WILL be banned. You are affecting player experience and using it for an unfair advantage. That is an automatic ban. Thats like literally the terms of service of every multiplayer ever. Smart players know not to use this cause it will get them banned. Plus, they dont need that stupid glitch to do good or enjoy themselves and want the game to be fair and competitive. So yeah, everyone go and use the glitch in pvp. Enjoy your ban. Maybe you can meet up with the heavy ammo glitch abusers and talk about how you got banned.

No they are banning players based on their lag. However if someone gets banned for abusing a known glitch then tough they deserve it

Uh I don't agree. It ruins PVP for me when the inly death a get in a game is the same Hunter using his shadow shot on me every 10 seconds. It makes me sad

There is a difference between highlighting a mistake for correction vs. exploiting the shit out of it for personal gain. Willingly abusing the system despite knowing ToS (you clicked agree to play), puts the fault directly on you, the cheater. (Not implying the op cheated, I read his/her post and know the op didn't.) Will there be bans? I highly doubt it, unless it's tied to achieving world firsts or beating trials, which requires some level of integrity to be considered legit claims.

1 RispondiThat's like blaming a gun salesman for selling a gun to someone that used to kill someone else. You are doing something you yourself know is morally wrong, you are abusing a glitch for your own gains. You are say you arent, but others do, the people that use this in PvP need to get dealt with if Trials comes around before its fixed. Before you say something like they cant ell when someone uses a super, yes they can, its in our player logs, they track our actions all the time, and if Jimmy ends up using said Shadowshot 20 times in one minute, Jimmy should be banned.

Because it's an exploit that gives you an advantage, yes. This isn't something like, "Oh, it's accidentally lasting forever." No, people are intentionally putting on the appropriate gear and perks and pressing start before it runs out to refresh it. They're cheating via exploit. Why should everyone else be punished by cheaters so that the cheaters don't get justice? That's @$$ backwards.
