I REALLY don't want to get off on the wrong foot here, but -blam!- you! You've spent so much time in the past year nerfing the players and the game that you've forgotten what this is all about. For us its about pouring hours into something you love. For you it should be about keeping a dedicated fan base and EXPANDING it. With the last few updates you have...
Given us three of coins.
Nerfed it to hell (1:7 pre patch 1:11 after)
Introduced new ways to spend materials
Nerfed them to hell
Given us more strange coins
Taken them away
Given us more motes
Taken them away
Black spindle- hardest weapon to get ATM
NERFED
There are a ton of people defending the spindle nerf, saying it was a patch. But you tell me what it is, when they take something that has already dropped, is already in your inventory, and lower its attack damage. It's a nerf. If looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, its a duck.
I'll give you a business 101 class right now. If you want people to spend money on your product, it has to be appealing. You're NEVER going to get a new player base when you've made the grind such a daunting task. Your game has to have the right balance of reward. Right now...
nightfall... Useless
Banner gear... Useless
Trials gear... Useless
Even the new emotes are -blam!-ing useless. I can't customize my dpad to use more than one at a time... WHERE IS THE INCENTIVE?!
Your team is quickly throwing your game down the drain, and I don't know how long I'm gonna stick around and watch it.
So here's my advice to you.
Your newest DLC took away more content than it added. For a game that was supposedly built around repeatability, you've done absolutely NOTHING to make it worth spending our time on the old content. And i know a lot of people will say that that the industry standard for an mmo is when new content comes in, the old goes out. But lets be honest, destiny is an online FPS. NOT an mmo. The reason mmo's can do what they do? Their EXPANSIONS (NOT dlc's) are entire new games.
Bungie i implore you to Make VOG and CE viable again. Reinstate the NF buff and for gods sake, fix the damn rewards. Make banner and trials gear drop at 290 so its a viable raid level option for the pvp crowd.
If our "community managers" spent more time actually interacting with the community, they would get a better feel for what this game is lacking, where it should be fixed, and our input on the patches they intend to implement BEFORE they nerf the entire game into non existence.
I know you're not going to listen to this, you don't hear anything unless it's a cry for nerf. I guess I'm just beating a dead horse here
Edit:I removed the cursing so they have no excuse to remove this thread like they did my other one
I would strongly advise all guardians saying this game is not headed toward pay to win to really rummage around in here...
http://db.destinytracker.com/items/consumables/consumable
I hope I'm not speaking out of turn when I say the community as a whole would LOVE to have some sort of open dialogue about the direction and decisions made recently. You won't be met with attacks. Just an open honest q&a. I'm not an angry person, just concerned for this game. I'm very passionate about it and would like to see it live up to its full potential for the next 8 years.
If you agree with what I've posted please leave a bump so this can hopefully get bungies attention. If you have more to add or an opposing opinion please leave it as a comment. I'm more than happy to have a calm reasonable discussion about anything related to this topic. Don't get frustrated if I don't respond right away. Im off to work for a ten hour shift and can only reply on breaks, but I will try to respond to everyone.

I really loved destiny. But all the hard work to get 3 FBs, 3 Gjallys, 3 BHs, 3 FVs, 3 IBs, and now everything is useless. The worst part of it all? I had to grind again, to be have "raidable" character. I was playng metal gear, till a week ago, then i jump back in. What a regret. The grind is there again. At least when Dark below and House of wolves where released, i didn't had to grind to do the endgame content.
-
Just bump.
-
Seeing how bad all the paid DLC has been can't wait to see what they create from the money they get from selling emotes lol
-
I used the spark of life on a level 2 Hunter. Became level25, gotlevel 20 armor, and an autorifle, shotgun, and machine gun(all rare) . It helped.
-
1 RispondiBump. It certainly would be nice if the content I previously paid for continued to be relevant.
-
Much wow
-
-
I agree technically the continued nerfing will eventually mean that we are all using the same weapon at this point ....I seriously will be happier and having more fun if we all just running around in the Crucible with the Khvostov

Well said.

From another dedicated player, BUMP

BIG BUMP

I've seen Cosmo reply to threads such as , 'found a ghost shell ' with 'ah the secrets of the dreadnaught are slowly revealed...!' Yet ask any legitimate question, such as why is my inventory full of tut ' that I do not know what to do with ect or why can't non ttk owners who bought HOW play trials and you get nothing . And they wonder why the forums have no idea what's going on.

Very passionate post. Bumps Why play banner or trials if the gear is near what you can get from patrol? And why would any new player want to learn the story if the rewards are total bull? I've been playing since the beta and I still have fun, but only those (in dwindling numbers) that have faith will continue playing this game. I hope for the best in the future. However I agree that I don't know how much longer I can continue if Bungie follows this same pattern.

Modificato da SlyTYRANT: 10/15/2015 9:05:25 AMThey need to be like warframe community managers actually involved.
-
1 RispondiAgreed. It's "The Dark Below" all over again.
-
2 RisposteNerfed to oblivion. That's some funny shit right there. It's the same -blam!-ing gun. You simply need to level it up again. Big wup.
-
6 Risposte"your newest DLC took away more content than it added" wow, i didnt really notice until i read that, but now that i think about it, the game does seem a lot smaller. ive been so focused on doing quests that i didnt realize i wasnt doing anything new. i love the new raid and the swords but to be honest it does feel bare boned. destiny was never a complete game but now it feels like a skeleton of its former self. i enjoy so much about this game and ive had a lot of fun and i dont want this game to die. please bungie, please dont kill this game!
-
1 RispondiI looked at the consumables that were data mined. Not a single one of them is "game breaking" or an unfair advantage to anyone. A lot of them, like the ones that that would raise exp gain from X enemy, look old and dashed in favor of just releasing the consumables that increase glimmer. The starter packs? If you were new to the game it would definitely get you up to speed to START your journey. Motes of light and Strange Coins are still very abundant.

1 RispondiI approve this message. - a very dissapointed player from days of the beta.
-
1 Rispondi
given us more strange coins Taken them away Given us more motes Taken them away
I mean they've even taken the enemies away! Anyone? But seriously, good post. I support.
-
2 Risposte
I REALLY don't want to get off on the wrong foot here, but -blam!- you!
XD... Totally not getting off on the wrong foot! 10/10

All the new changes feel very Anti-Player. Bungie wants to sell us an increase drop perk for real money...so how do they make it attractive...they ruin the standard drops. Regular drops - very stingy after nerf. Nightfall drops - awful. Iron Banner drops - average. Trials drops - not worth it. Raid drops - still dumb as fk. The fix is coming but it's going to cost you! How on earth do they nerf the drops in some areas without fixing the broken drops in others in the same breath!
-
2 RisposteBump. But you only hinted at a much more robust list of problems. I would rant about the long list of things that I (and many other loyal players) are getting fed up with (constant weasel errors STILL, really??), but what good will it do? Bungie will not listen, nor will they care. But they should. Where there is smoke, there is fire. After logging countless hours playing Call of Duty, I quit that franchise cold because all of the BS became too much, as did many others. I am nearing that point with Destiny now, as are many others.

Modificato da Cole Norris: 10/15/2015 7:20:45 AMI agree... I know I may not be as avid a player, but I'd like to know that when I get up there, things aren't nerfed completely. Lol.
