So the Black Spindle nerf came today, something we all knew would happen. Bungie made us a promise... They broke that promise. Bungie, you told us that the existing Black Spindles that dropped at 310 would be brought down to 290, and that if we infused it into anything then what we infused it into would stick and not be nerfed. So, my friends and I bought Black Spindles from the blueprint kiosk and infused our 310 Spindles into the kiosk ones, bringing them up to 307. Then, when I received a 310 Invective I didn't want I infused that into my 307 Spindle, bringing it up to 310. I just logged on to check out the changes, and what is my infused spindle at? 290. My friends who had theirs at 307 are now at 287. Excuse me Bungie but what the hell?? I get that the gun wasn't intended to drop at 310 and, even though we worked hard to earn them by running what was undoubtably the hardest thing I've ever done in Destiny, I understood the nerf announcement and planned ahead. You told us that if we infused a gun with it that gun would remain at what we infused it to. Well, I infused my hard earned spindle into another gun, admittedly another spindle, and you cheated me out of my best sniper. I followed your rules, your recommendations, and you cheated me. You cheated my clan. I've never been legitimately mad at you, Bungie, for a change in Destiny... Until now. Give me back the gun I rightfully earned at 310. Edit: I don't have time to respond to all the stupid comments so I'm going to sum this up here. 1. They never said the words "all spindles" or "20 point drop" or anything of the like. Wouldn't you know it, there is a bug that is enabling some of these weapons to drop at 310 - that's 20 points higher than intended. It has also come to our attention that you are using this new acquisition to Infuse your other weapons. Good on you. Have fun with that. None of those weapons will be affected by this change - only the Spindle.[/u] The post refers specifically to "these weapons (dropping) at 310". There is no reference to all spindles or spindles attained from the kiosk. It also says "None of those weapons (infused) will be affected by this change" It does not single out Spindles you bought from the kiosk, which technically are not the same as the one you received from the mission itself. Nowhere does it say that other Spindles would be nerfed. Also, several people have had 300 or 302 spindles, on them or in their vault, that were unaffected. Meanwhile, my friend's spindle dropped from 307 down to 287. The only difference I see here, aside from a few attack values, is that his was infused with the 310 spindle, while the others weren't. Did some of you get this right? Yeah, you did, and I'm glad for you and whatever gun you beefed up with it. However, had myself and others been the ones right many of us would be defending you right now due to the vagueness of Bungie's post, not calling you stupid or insulting your reading abilities. I think we should all agree, however, that this should have been clarified, and not with a last minute tweet that those of us who don't use twitter/live on these forums couldn't see.
