Then I have a question for you. I love using pulse rifles but can't find one that wins me over. I liked using the slow RoF high impact ones but I'm hearing a lot of good things about Hawksaw. What pulse rifles do you guardians use or would recommend for crucible?
Edit: Thank you all for the advice, it's greatly appreciated. Have a great day guardians!
Edit: Holy cat shit batman! That's a lot of replies! Thank you all again. What pulse will you guys be bringing into IB later today and with what rolls? As always good luck out there guardians!

Hawksaw, Red Death, or Apple of Discord.
-
The one on my warlock is so so so so soooooo good too lazy to click and find the name and it's too early to remember
-
Red Death or Bad JuJu
-
I got a hawksaw with target acquisition and headseeker. Along with a malok. Both Pieces Of shit. red death crew
-
2 RisposteHawksaw just wrecked me in my first iron banner match today. The time to kill is so high.
-
Apple of discord is really good.. ive been running that recently in IB and it is great.. of course Red death is great as well but ive also heard the villiany is just like the hopscotch pilgrim and ive seen video of it and it has next to no recoil.
-
IB Pulse looks decent
-
1 Rispondi>expected pulse rifle h8 >was dissapoint
-
Bad jewjew ftw
-
Suros PDX 41. I love it.
-
2 RisposteThe Hawksaw I have equipped on my Titan. Love the roles.
-
2 RisposteApple of discord from the vanguard quartermaster. Has hand laid stock for buffed stability and it's two main perks are headseaker and full auto. Real nice. Plus, it's a hakke weapon so it fires 4 bullets. Roughly 25~ per headshot not counting headseaker buff or level differences. Two rounds-two and a half is a kill if you have fairly good accuracy. Good short to little over medium range pulse. Big fan.

3 RisposteI get killed by Hacksaw a lot, but I like my FWC Pulse Rifle because it reminds me of my Praedyth.
-
5 RisposteGrasp of malok
-
I know its a scout rifle, but I love Treads Upon Stars, but only until I get a good pulse rifle, sadly all my best pulse rifles are year one
-
1 RispondiThe one weapon I got most my kills with in Crucible is a FWC The Conduit with Headseeker, Counter Balance and Perfect Balance. 18 rounds in the mag, next to 0 impact. I must have surprised some people. But the 123 Syzrgy was in the same vane, of HRF, low impact pulse fired lasers. The real darlings have been the Messenger, Hopscotch Pilgrim, Three Little Words and Super Pox VLO, high impact 2 burst killers. Though, base stability has been nerfed a bit, but I think most Pulse Rifle fans have adapted. As I go into the Iron Banner this time, Im going to be carrying a FWC The Villany with Outlaw and Glass Half Full, switching off to Red Death MAYBE.

Hawksaw or strangers rifle
-
The Apple of Discord isn't half bad.
-
Personally the strangers rifle
-
Just got hit w a 306 red death...enough said
-
4 RisposteRed death is swell Small burst recoil, stagger rounds and heals on kill
-
1 RispondiI stupidly bought the yr 2 version of Red Death, should've bought Bad juju for its auto fire.
-
Red Death <3
-
3 RispostePersonally I've never seen the appeal of low-ROF, high impact weapons - if you aren't a good shot, you won't be doing any damage. What I like looking for is a balance between rate of fire and impact so that moderate damage is dealt consistently. A pulse rifle that I absolutely loved (before I found my Smite of Merain) is the SUROS PDX-41, a balanced pulse rifle that served me well in King's Fall and had a high rate of fire, low impact, high range, high stability, and high reload speed. Ultimately it's your call what pulse rifle you'd want to use, and I'm more of a PVE person anyway, so I don't know how my suggestions would fair in the Crucible.

Bad juju. The raid pulse rifle has been good for me.

I'm loving Grasp of Malok. The thing is a bullet hose, and I have a complete crap roll, but the thing wrecks.
