Sleeper simulant is actually really good
To all of you who say sleeper simulant needs a buff or it sucks sorry to tell you but you're wrong. The gun is meant to be used against single targets which when used against a single target it does more damage than both rocket and LMGS. The gun is fine the way it is.
Edit 1: why do people complain about the ammo? It carries more than rockets and each round does about 50% more damage than a single rocket. The ammo is fine.
Edit 2: Guys it's a single target weapon (aka boss killer). Stop trying to use it on adds it's not meant for that.
Edit 3: The perks just provide a CHANCE to hit others. The gun was meant for single targets not meant to be counted on to hit more than one target.

Edit 5: Last edit sleeper is a good BURST DAMAGE heavy meant for fights were you can only get a couple of shots of quickly and not continuous dps. Snipers will also out dps sleeper in the long run for bosses that were many to be fought like that (aka king's fall).

It does very good damage against bosses, but the perks on it suck. No chance I'll be using it over my spindle.

2 RisposteIts a very strong boss killer. I like the gun and am not hating on the gun, but it does have pretty useless perks. 99 percent of the time, the Exotic Perk on this weapon is totally useless. I would literally trade every perk on this gun for an extra 100 damage a shot or for an extra round. Aside from the essentially useless Perks, the gun is about as efficient boss killer as you can get your hands on.

I personally love the sleeper. Used the right way it is very effective in strikes. I use mine to take out majors in one hit.

I think the SS is cool but the bouncey perk is a waste I'd prefer a perk that would help with mobs like widening the beam or making it constant like a flame thrower switch between the 2 focused beam for bosses or a spread with less power but ads control

Its good ill give you that but really good, that's debatable? Personally i think there are few exotics more deserving of the slot.

Its actual a multi target weapon but primary functions as a high DPS single shot, single target weapon, remember it goes through enemy's and has no damage fall off from this, once we get the last upgrade node (the 5 times bounce one if it still exists) then it will have more potential.

If I wanna damage a single target, I'll either use my Raze-Lighter, or snipe them.

1 RispondiI personally don't think much needs to be changed to it at the moment. It does what it does really well (do massive damage to one enemy at a time), but the ricochet could use a change. At the moment the ricochet is almost useless, it is extremely difficult to land ricochet shots. So I would suggest a very strong aim assist or tracking after the bullet ricochets which would make landing ricochet shots much less difficult. It is so hard to land ricochet shots atm that it's very hard to use it to your advantage so changing it in this way would allow it to be used intentionally more often.

4 RisposteBoth your characters are light level 240... Yet your arguing about the sleeper simulant being good enough...when tons of people feel like it could use at least a slight buff. Do you even have the simulant?! I can't imagine how you'd manage to get it at such a low light level...
