Do you still enjoy playing Crucible?...I know I don't
I have been a player since release and spent a majority of my time in the crucible.
Since the release of The Taken King the crucible is just not as fun.
The "Time To Kill" is just extremely fast and the new supers (Titan and Warlock) are terribly OP.
I was never really an amazing player but could hold my own and really enjoyed the PVP experience, especially with friends.
I have a LOT of friends who wont even play crucible anymore except for the daily even though we used to play every day.
It's hard to really sum it up but it just plays different.
I thought the week before TTK dropped it was really great.
Maybe the light levels or the new guns have a role in the imbalances.
Also I have never seen SO many people dropping out of matches.
I think maybe the Quest are a reason for this, if the person isn't going to complete their quest they just bail.
Take it like a man guardians and quit ditching your team.
All in all I am sad I can't enjoy PVP anymore and am starting to not even want to play the game due to how frustrated I get while playing.
Oh, and not to mention the LAG!!!!
Do you feel the same or are you still enjoying the PVP?
Edit: I must add that there are some things I DO like about he new updates as many of you have mentioned.
1. shotgun range is down
2. No more getting sniped by Thorn and Last Word
3. No more blink/shotgun (or not as much)
4. I can use a variety of guns (even though Pulse seems the strongest)
5. I can FINALLY use my Fusion again to counter idiot shotgunners running right at me
6. I oddly enjoy Mayhem rumble

The lag is so bad I consider crucible broken and refuse to play till it get fixed. All I do is quests that force me in this broken ass game mode and get back out as soon as I can

1 RispondiIt's really the only thing I do enjoy. Everything else is repetitive and boring except for PvP. Plus I do pretty well so no complaining from my end

I stop paying attention to pvp in this game a long time ago. It's just now that I'm forced to go back that I have played and it's still not that great.

I don't get the part about the TTK being faster. If anything I feel the top end TTK weapons are slower across the board.

I really enjoy seeing people say Titans and warlocks supers are op in crucible and night stalker is shit. You do realise you have another 2 classes? No ones making you use the bow at all.

1 RispondiIm noticing stormtrance seems to not fire in crucible but works perfect in P/E. Ever fire off your super or hit the button for grenade, you hear it, then you die and find out it never got launched. Its like the vex backed up time to just before you hit the button and killed you first. Maybe its my playstation but I think mechanics are worse since TTK.

Not particularly. It could be worse, but it seems that crucible gets less and less fun with each major balancing update they do. I have not played crucible for fun since TTK released, I've only played to complete the quests for The Chaperone and the Mark of Oblivion. I'll still have to do more crucible to get my New Monarchy cloak, FWC bond, and The First Curse, but aside from that I don't think I'll be playing much crucible.

I just don't have the time to play as much pvp atm as I did at the down slope of year one, as I have had a lot of pve content to get done. Thus, I haven't found my preferred loadout yet, though I am fairly close. Also, I guess since the meta doesn't seem to have settled yet, and I personally don't have the experience of the current pvp like I did prior to this, it's a bit soon to say how I feel about it yet. That being said, I'm enjoying the pvp I am doing, with the exception of rift, which I find to be horrible with randoms, and mayhem which isn't particularly fun.

1 RispondiNot really no. All the new changes were 100% Anti Hunter, and unfortunately I main a hunter. Bounties now, or if I'm on with buddies. Nowhere near as much as I used to

I agree. Since the taken king came out crucible has seemed more boring than usual. All the new gamemodes you need TTK for seem more exciting than rumble or team battles. Plus all the people with TTK have new armour, weapons and super charges (which are op), that they own you with. So your basically getting wrecked by people with op weapons/supercharges on gamemodes that aren't as fun as others. With TTK released it feels like I can't do anything on destiny anymore. The reasons being that crucible is now not as fun as it used to be (without the TTK), armour, weapons and super charges that I need level 40 for leaves me stuck with crappy gear (that used to be good). And last but not least missions and other extra content that all us guardians miss out on. TTK has made destiny quite a lot more unexciting and boring than it needed to be.

I know it's an unpopular opinion But I enjoyed the previous meta a bit more It was more thrilling for me The new meta is balanced yes But the kill or be killed feeling isn't there anymore Before the insane shotgun range and the insanely small time to kill Seemed unbalanced yes But it seemed for fun for me tbh

I've just got back into loving it. At first I dropped k/d and skill but now I'm back up to 1.5+ a game with top three finish at least.
