A true Hunter
With all the whining on the forums since TTK with the majority of them being Hunters I thought I'd share some thoughts.
When I pictured a Hunter, especially in the crucible, I pictured a cocky D-bag that would run through the crucible and make it look like a game, no matter how challenging. No matter how hard you had to try and how sweaty your palms were at the end, you would pull through and make it look easy while doing it. Cool, composed, relentless style. To me that's what it means to be a Hunter.
For the most part that's how it was in Year 1, until you guys started to feel threatened for the first time. The Sunbreaker emerged. The first sign of an equal or superior force you cry then you whine. The complete opposite of the Year 1 Hunters we've grown to respect. At the first sign of real competition you whine and beg for nerfs and buffs?
The Hunters I knew wouldn't have hesitated to put 2 rounds of Golden Gun right
between my eyes to shut me down and put me in my place. Not caring that it took 1 extra round, as long as I was shut down and you had atleast 1 or 2 more rounds left to put down anyone else foolish enough to challenge you at your peak. A year ago, every Hunter would have killed for a bow that could stop any enemy in it's tracks, and wouldn't give a second thought to put 1 or 3 arrows into my chest for any given reason. Nothing can stop you if your aim is true.
What happened Hunters? Does your aim fail you now? Is your marksmanship only effective against an inferior force? When did you become so cowardly.
Edit: We should start this thing. Any whining, misinformed Hunters we come across we should direct them here lol

2 RisposteYear one Hunter here, and I completely agree, my only concern is the HoS regen. I think it's a little much. Hunters don't get regen on super kills so it kinda sucks in that regard.

2 RisposteI've noticed that the bow can be hard to aim at times but it's the fact that you're gliding a bit away so you have to keep a fast and steady aim at your target but for most hunters they spam it. I take my time with the three shots (Shoot, hit one, and take out the others)

Beta/Day 1 Hunter here. Completely agree. Haven't had a problem with Sunbreakers since TTK, and I still don't.

I'm a hunter and I approve. I see the same things, and it's because some hunters just fail to adapt to the changes. Those guardians are not true hunters. A hunter should be constantly adapting to the situation, not complaining about the change necessary for survival.

Truth. I made my Hunter because they seemed like they would always take challenge and make it easy. They were brave and could adapt. All of my fellow Hunters should respect the Titans ability and let them be on the throne.

I think you're saying a Golden Gunner should feel okay that they have to get in two shots on a Hammer of Sol and only have one left... When Hammer of Sol's single hammer delivery outpaces the time it takes to get two shots off. Kills the Golden Gunner in only one hammer. Proceeds to instantly regen the health lost from the first Golden Gun hit, preventing the fallen Golden Gunner from even having a chance of a 25 point Crossfire or 50 point Assist if you die by something else shortly after. Then still permitting you an additional 6 hammers and 20 remaining super duration to run around with. Or the Golden Gunner gets lucky with getting both hits before your 3rd person view catches sight of him, and then has to struggle to find a 3rd person before his remaining 4 seconds expires. There's no comparison.

Quiver won't kill a sunbro titan if he is chasing due to slow activation on super suppression. Other then that I'm fine with the rest of your comments.

I'm a hunter main and I don't really mind sunbreaker I just get very disappointed when I snipe one in the head mid super and they don't die. Sometimes I can finish them off sometimes I can't. It's a super though so it shouldn't be super easy to stop.

if HoS didn't guarantee 4+ kills per charge things would be different.

Lol I agree, however guardian you should know that a few of us still stand and face any force, whether it be a puny hammer or some static effects, I will ether put my arrow through you or take up my blade (bladedancer not the sword) and smack you in the face with it. I like you and would love to face you in the heat of battle, carry on your killing of the new insignificant hunters who don't know how to handle there own lol

I've always been the hunter in the background running double sniper picking off the enemy players that try to sneak up on my teamates.

12 RisposteNah I was all about kills back then and getting the the top of the list. Now, as a Nightstalker, I focus on my teammates more. Smack a chaser down or simply make my dying, running teammate invisible. I like my new class and like helping out my team even if they usually smack me lol

I am a hunter and have been since day one. I am kind of glad that hunter are back to being useful for the raid. We have lost relevance because everyone who isn't one thinks we are just a PvP class, but with Celestial Nighthawk doing a great job on Oryx. I hope others will see us a more of a PvE class.

I actually for some reason didn't mind sunbreakers. But I still thing Nightstalkers got screwed. To me out of all the new subclasses now ours is the only one to only get 3 kills unless ur lucky and find a group of people.
