Guys, warframe is a free to play game. Their model is centered around everything being free, but you can enhance your gameplay with a cash shop, some pay to win and some not, in warframe's instance you just pay to save time. if those were good examples of games that resulted in free dlc with microtransactions, i could literally name hundreds but their model is nothing like destiny, where they had 500 million dollars to work with, made all that back in the first week, the game is buy to play, and dlc that actually provides content is paid for. Ive spent 180 dollars on destiny just to play it. Its nothing like a warframe or a team fortress or a neverwinter, free to play games, some having straight up freemium subscription models. The only half valid one ive seen is GTA 5, and if you want to get into it, Guild wars 2 before it became free to play. But GTA 5 only adds free content like clothes, cars, and weapons. Heists was meant to be in the game day 1. GW 2 when it was buy to play like destiny, all of its conent that came out, new areas, new story, etc, was free. And it did have microtransactions, so thats pretty much the only valid answer to this question so far.

A friend of mine plays Warframe all the time and he says if you don't purchase anything, you get ridiculously shafted in the game. He said that you can obtain the same stuff they get but the chances of you doing so is like .1%

That's cute using someone else experience as your own argument

Please point out where I am arguing? I've never even played the damn game so why would I argue it?

Sure it's slow without plat but you sure as he'll don't need it. Plus you can make the currencey without buying it from trading it for stuff people need
