Okay so I'm an avid scout rifle user. It's the only primary I ever care to use, just my play style. Year 1 saw MANY extremely useful and diverse scouts. With weapons like Vision of Confluence, Ghelions Demise, and The Scholar Adept I was easy to have an INCREDIBLE primary weapon and you could still use an exotic special or heavy. I personally went for the MIDA Multi Tool, between the clip size, and agility bonus, it was by far my favorite weapon in the game. Now hear me out, I'm not upset that my awesome year 1 gear is not year 2 level. I just don't understand why there are not Adequate replacements for my year 1 stuff. All of this new stuff is complete garbage. They didn't boost up the ONLY year 1 exotic scout, and replaced it with a pathetic one. Boolean Gemini? This gun is a joke. Its strictly okay as a whole. You can BARELY feel the extra agility perk in action. Compared to the Mida it is trash. I'm on Xbox so the Jade rabbit is out of the question. Though I've heard it's nothing special, just a cool perk. Seriously, scouts get screwed hard. Handcannons have the: Last word Thorn (expired) hawkmoon Ace of spades First curse. 3 of them were absurdly strong and had to nerf. Still very useful. Auto rifles have the: Suros, zahalo, Monte Carlo Fabian All are adequate choices Even pulse rifles have more Bad juju Red Death No time to explain All 3 adequate. What do scouts get??? Mida (expired) Boolean (trash) Taloc (warlock only) I main Titan Jade (PS exclusive) One? I get one??? Why is this okay? Why make scouts harder to choose? With nearly ALL the maps so close range that scout is already at disadvantage, why make the selection smaller? My only hope is the fate of all fools being in Trials of Osiris. It's extremely annoying that those of us that use scouts get noting good for year 2. So, does Bungie Hate scout rifles? Edit: I'm being informed of several good weapons, also that I forgot touch of malice. I was told by several people (no doubt the people that just wanted to sound like they knew stuff) that the malice was an auto rifle that they had. I have the quest to get it but haven't looked into it yet. It's a scout, yay! Other options that are legendary include hung jury and a few others that I'll try soon. Feeling better already. It seems my lack knowledge was the problem. I thought I'd seen most all options so far. I have grinded my balls off trying for hr Treads upon stars strike scout. 45 runs and still none.. Sad.
