Having read most of the responses :
Some would without hesitation which I agree with. At the end of the day its a video game and if you have someone willing to give you real money which you can spend on more important things then it's a no brainer.
To the people saying no that would mean it's about $1 an hour my response to that is..... Its a video game. You cannot compare a real job to the time you spend on a video game it's not even close to being the same. Saying I earn $1000 a day/week/month etc doesn't mean you should get paid the same for putting time into a video game.
The original post was with the idea of someone giving you $1000 to shut down your destiny account and never play it again so you would not be able to simply delete the account then restart and get to the same light level 2 weeks later. It would mean packing in destiny and not playing it in the future.

What am I supposed to do with the $1000? If it was something I'd enjoy more, I'd be doing that instead of playing destiny now. I have less excess time than money, so I would rather keep this activity I enjoy than trade it for a number. If I was an unemployed kid, my logic would likely be different, but as an established professional with accumulated wealth and a respectable income, (and wife and kids) I'm not giving up the few activities I've kept up to this point, thank you very much.

Yes and get me a Daniel Defense DDM4V11 Pro 18" or a Glock 34 with apex trigger, taran tactical trigger bar and springs with a lone wolf barrel, high polished all metal recoil spring and guide rod along with the slide cut for a trijicon rmr. OR a CZ 75 SP-01 sent to Cajun Gun works and trigger job.

I realized I'd use that 1000 dollars to buy other games like fallout black ops 3 star wars battlefront AND need for Speed but I already bought that one and you shit im having a blast
