So in your mind adapting is using using a less effective method to achieve the same goal? Just because something is new doesn't mean its better. If I can kill you quicker and easier using old guns then thats what I'm going to use.

Watcha gonna do in Iron Banner?

It is less effective overall because unless you're already level capped, then you're wasting your time rewards wise. They're dropping NEW party crashers and whatnot, why not play with a high level to get a year 2 OP weapon that you can ACTUALLY use in REAL competitive multiplayer? that's more effective than getting more kills in a single game.
-
That still has nothing to do with the gun stats. The only thing y1 guns are outclassed by is the arbitrary banana sticker of an attack value. Your "competitive" modes are just a numbers game. Sure i may be forced into using them in Iron Banner but that doesn't make them good. And party crasher is a y1 gun.
-
Not the gun stats I was talking about, just the rewards. Higher light = higher rewards, it's that simple. And party crasher and matador are both dropping year 2 versions, so keeping your higher light will get you a high light gun like that.
-
And in normal pvp stats are all that matter. So the matador with the shiny banana is no more effective than the one you already have. The only time it matters is in trials and iron banner. One of those you don't even have to win to get rewards for now and the other there are better options for anyway.

Modificato da Benzene21: 10/2/2015 6:23:45 PMNo. You can still get those drops. If you use one or two old weapons but still had the rest of your gear at year 2 level, your light should still be over 250 and you still get gear with 270+ light.

Alright man, keep using that felwinters then, hope it makes you feel good :)

I don't use shotguns in PvP.
