XUR. JIPPED AGAIN.
Bungie talked a pretty big with their -blam!-ed up loot fixes, telling us that loot is "specific" to a character and tries not to give you the same thing.
I spent two weeks worth of those scarce ass strange coins only to be greeted by 4, -blam!-ing, Taikonauts. Four of them.
I already had one, got one from RNG too.
What the -blam!- guys? I hear people complaining about this so its impossible I'm the first, last or only. They fixed that Draxis shit fast WHY NOT THIS?
Someone please tell me what I've done wrong.

If people want to farm the exotics like they were with the 3oC then fcuk em, let em - its only their own experience they are diluting. But no, get that fixed first! But the issue with engrams seemingly worse than year 1, even after they said they had made improvements to cut down on duplicates - nothing. And before anyone says the 3oC was probably an easier thing to fix, I don't care - this has always been the case where actual problems that affect everyone are left on the backburner whilst glitches are prioritised. I'm not saying glitches should be left, but for the love of God prioritise the things that are having a negative impact on peoples' experience.

1 RispondiAre you decrypting them all at once? I've watched several YouTube videos showing that if you do one and check what you got and then after a few minutes decrypting another and repeating that usually leads to different drops. I've tried it myself and it seems to work. It seems that the random number generator uses to determine the drops doesn't work fast enough for rapid decryption.

Yeah it seems like duplicates are the name of the game these days. A big part of the problem is that we lost so many exotics due to them leaving so many behind in Y1 so it's quite easy to roll the same piece over and over. I personally hope they start bringing them to Y2 sooner rather later.

I read it has to do with the fact that they drop with all different rolls now. So while you're getting the same helmet one may be all intellect whereas another may be a split so it recognizes it as a totally different helm. If that's the case that's pretty annoying. I already don't like that they come with all different rolls

I feel you pretty much every exotic engram I get with my 3 of coins is a crest of the alpha lupe. I've gotten somewhere between 10 to 20 of the damn things over the last few weeks.
