He isn't useless. This is a good week, now I can buy emgrams to try for 310 exotics, three of coins and if you don't have it BUY THE NIGHTHAWK. It does an amazing job of staggering Oryx. Buy engrams first in case you get a higher level one.

Used 4 ToC angry used the two exotics I got to upgrade my arms and chest. Bought the helmet engram from Xur and got my 310 helmet. 303 light.

Xur has been useless for quite some time. I use him for coins now. Used to just use him for cheap heavy ammo.
