I still find these difficult to deal with at times. I'll get killed by GG without warning. Or bladedancer recovering off kills and zipping all around the map with lock on lunges.
So what's the best way to deal with these supers?
Edit: seems like a lot of suggestions would work the same against a sunbreaker... Why don't people do them then?
Edit2: So basically what im getting is that there isnt a counter to GG. Why do some many people cry about sunbreaker then if GG is just as Op?

My best advice is to listen for the super. GG, sunbreaker, Bladedancer, stormcaller have a loud sound when popped. Stay away from that area. FoH and nova bomb are harder to avoid since it happens fast

4 RisposteYou counter GG by good positioning. Keep your distance and try to snipe them, or force them to move in close and shotgun them around the corner. When shotgunning, make sure you're jumping high as they or you round the corner on them so they have to react to your position. Your much more likely to win the trade that way.

7 RisposteBladedance has no range so it can be sniped off or killed by a shotgun, or shotgun melee. Gg has range but no armor besides mid activation so it can be killed the same as a regular guardian. Nightstalker is a lot like gg so it dies to all the same things. Those strategies as well as those supers do not kill a sunbreaker unless they are hit twice by any of the supers. 2 melees from a bladedancer, 2 hits from gg, 2 hits from shadowshot will kill a sunbreaker. However in each situation sunbreaker only requires 1 hit. Sunbreaker has more health than a blade dancer, the hammer has similar range & speed to shatter nova bomb with the blast radius of lance with chaining capabilities, with more shots than gg with aclyophage, & is used by the fastest moving class in destiny. & can regenerate health from ranged kills( only class in destiny able to do that) This super has all the strengths of the other classes but none of the weaknesses & it is obviously superior to them. Hunters are simple to fight because you can 1v1 every one of their supers & either win or trade but Sunbreaker is in a class on its own. I'm not saying the Sunbreaker class is op because other classes have better pvp perks & those are what would really matter in something like trials where you wouldn't always have access to your super. However, the super is a bit too strong & probably should be toned down a bit.

2 RisposteDid you just call Gg as op as a sunbreaker? Well. GG has 0 defense increase, so it can be taken out fairly quickly. (Sniper to head). And it has 3 shots than don't always kill. Sunbreaker on the other hand can tank a Gg, and a high impact sniper. Making it way way better. Oh and the aoe hammers that get thrown

GG: kill them while they're distracted or catch them off guard with a shotgun. BD: shotgun them in the face. (See a theme?) HoS: peg and run. The thing about Hammer is that they're practically a 4-5 shot Golden Gun BUT instead of needing to [u]perfectly[/u] hit someone, they can just throw a hammer in your immediate area and just kill you.

Use your ears to hear them, all have distinct sounds, then: 1. Shoot them 2. Run 3. Super them back 4. All of the above 5. Quit

Hunter supers are shit compared to other classes, they nerfed all the things that made hunters cool

Modificato da An Actual Noob: 10/2/2015 3:36:10 PMGG OP? are you serious? lmfao idek how many golden guns ive shutdown with a single snipe to the head, they have 0 damage reduction whereas sunbreaker is not OP at all, sure the super is amazing but without it the class is terrible for most situations. people cry about sunbreaker because its a flying tank throwing 8+ tracking projectiles that prox detonate wich results into getting his health back that kills every other super with 1 hammer only, it survives GG shot, it survives 1000-yard stare headshots and most of the maps are very CQC oriented so evading hammers isnt easy to do, all i can suggest is that you run away as far as possible in the opposite direction from where you heard the activation sound, this is all very obvious then again your overall kdr is 0.65, usually i dont do this but for the sake of the arguement, it being that low means it really doesnt matter what super kills you because you are not capable to stop any of them without using fist of panic and result to the forums to complain that you think its OP but it actually isnt

Golden gun is normally a 3 kill max with the luck of a 4-5 if using a special perk I personally do not think sun breaker needs a nerf but putting a obviously passive aggressive post in the forums like this is just annoying
