That's a very very low statistic. I think Bungie must be licking their wounds a little now, it's a shame that such a lot of effort and creativity is being put into endgame material that the majority of played won't experience.
I wonder what year 2 and 3 will bring.
I can see matchmaking and redesigned raids (for matchmaking) in the future.
No disrespect to the players who killed Oryx. Well done guardians. I've watched the streams and videos it looks great.

It's not hard. There's only 5 guys I'm friends with who I've completed the raid with. Any time I try to run with a different group I end up wasting hours of my life I'll never get back. So annoying. This isn't a raid you can carry people. It's easy but it requires everyone to do their job. One person messes up their job the dps is too low or your getting wiped.
-
not unpopular, simply inaccessible ingame for everyone due to bad game design
-
Modificato da TeWrecks: 10/2/2015 8:53:33 AMWhat if they designed the matchmaking raids to be less difficult (bosses have less hp), but with the rewards being weaker than the ones you get with full fireteam before jumping into the raid.

3 RisposteModificato da TheBateman87: 10/2/2015 9:13:14 AMbungie will never learn - a large percentage of players are casuals - casuals wont know the first thing about LFG sites or how to get fireteams nor will they be assed to do this - so raids are out of their interest im not saying raids should have matchmaking - but thats why so few bother with the raid
-
Read the weekly, the successful completion rate was 30%. It's not unpopular it's hard.
-
Just helped a fireteam beat oryx. The weirdest thing was that half of them had touch of malice, yet none of them knew how to damage oryx (detonating orbs). Once I explained it thoroughly, we got it on the second try. How is this a thing? When I beat oryx for the first time, I understood all the mechanics of the fight. Anyone else have a similar experience with lfg groups?
-
Lol something like 15% of the community has ever even completed a raid so seems pretty popular to me.
-
That's the number that defeated him. So far 200,000 fire teams have attempted it lol
-
That just the number that managed to beat him not the number that played the raid
-
1 RispondiI often just can't be bothered beating the first raid boss Mr get a fire team. Bungie please nerf mr get a fire team ASAP! He is OP as -blam!-
-
The Raid hasn't been out long and while those most invested in Destiny have raced to get ready for the Raid and play it I imagine many people are still getting to the light level requirement or even still playing through the missions.
-
The Raid has only been out for... what, two weeks? Also, it's far more demanding as far as teamwork goes; if you don't work together, you'll never reach Oryx. There are no ways around this, no cheeses, no ways to solo it.
-
4 RisposteModificato da Urban Shade: 10/2/2015 6:12:11 AMIt's because a majority of the players don't know the meaning of counter clock wise or when to -blam!-ing jump on the platforms in general
-
It's difficult, time consuming, and TTK has only been out for 3 weeks so there are a lot of people that aren't properly geared to even do the raid. Give it some time and those numbers will go up.
-
2 RisposteMatchmaking by checkpoint. I'd pay $20 for that.
-
Maybe the raid has been out only a few weeks have to do with it? Or Maybe, just maybe.... Some People are fully ready to hit raid yet? And is holding off till they get better gear before trying it? Thought about that?
-
Be nice if the primary didn't like totally blow. Slow rof and reload just to do a bit of extra damage to taken and all the cucoon perks don't really seam to work in my opinion. after beating him once foe ToM it's really not worth the effort
-
If anyone is like me, they just haven't had time to do it yet. I've got 2 characters that are around 293 when swapping gear around, and I've played up to the first totems area. The issue is, if you have no experience at doing the raid, fellow guardians are reluctant to take you into their fire team (which I can understand), but it's a vicious circle. I'll do it at some point, and then proceed to do it multiple times a week. At the moment it's just waiting for clan members to be online at the same time, so we can get it done. This weekend with a bit of luck!
-
3 RisposteI would say it's more to do with the fact that most people haven't had the time. I've personally been super busy last few weeks and just haven't had a good chunk of time available to even attempt it - I've had 1 go so far but only had a couple hours to spare and was doing it blind cause that's more fun.
-
Just under 2% of players have beaten the Kings fall raid. So I'd think so maybe cuz it's really hard or ppl aren't high enuff yet.
-
Modificato da Psyko_Dad: 10/2/2015 8:07:57 AMI think most people just can't beat it. Bet it has a lot to do with rage-quitters. Edit: I think Sony did a good job with the Communities introduced with firmware 3.00 Join a Destiny community and it is very easy to find and join people. Works way better than having to use the App or whatever.
-
I havent done it yet mainly because i only bought ttk last week so im only 282 amd secondly i never do raids i cant ever get people to do it or if i do they are noobs and suck
-
It's just really hard to learn, i completed it a few times now and only now got the hang of it.
-
I think it's very popular lol it's just a little more difficult to do with LFG groups.
-
3 RisposteI think a lot of people are just taking time to adjust to the fact that there's no cheese, and everyone has to be doing their job. It's not a raid where you can let yourself be carried.
