I've seen a LOT of posts lately about "raid requirements" while I can understand some people's point of view, I have to totally disagree. As long as you have ONE person who has ran the raid, you'll be fine the fights aren't hard just mechanically complex. It requires a good teacher, and not everyone wants to teach.
Here's the kicker, I'm a great teacher and want to help out. It will be a live streamed event. This Friday at 4:00pm EST, I'll help anyone and everyone on the XBOX ONE who needs it. I recommend around 285 light to actually hold your dps weight, I don't give a shit if you've NEVER completed a raid before IN your life.
I'm continuing to do this EVERY Friday. Maybe even some spin offs to help people with other stuff, like strikes, nightfall, PvP, story, whatever you ask I'll do it. You can see past highlights and previous streams here:

Running one last night and a guy at 288 demanded that all he does is clear adds and ogres. He would get the relic at the sisters and not even make the first platform. Wouldn't jump on pedastals and wouldn't listen. I was at 308 and had to run gaze and relic on oryx. I have walked a few through but if you just listen to simple instructions people will help. Just don't lie and say you have done all off it cause it's clear with every wipe you have not. Just be up front and listen for 5 minutes and follow instruction
