The super itself is fine but this? It's not the fact that it simply survives it but how that fact weighs against other classes. Radiance and most importantly bladedance get OHKO by a golden gun. Bladedancer especially requires you to be as close as you can get to them to get a kill. So it would make sense they get a health buff because they're always in high danger. Sunbreaker is put in less danger, has tracking hammers, hungering blade And more health?
Balance please..
No they weren't in a sunspot and no they did not have the solar armour perk on their chest piece.
(Don't know if this changed with the golden gun buff) but I Know radiant skin warlocks can survive a GG shot, and I think they absolutely should. They have chosen a specific perk to boost their armour. Titans don't forgo anything for more armour and throw OHKO hammers, which warlocks do not do.
Edit: my view point isn't that golden gun Should 1 shot everything 'because hunter master race', it's that arcblade/radiance/stormtrance require you to put yourself in more danger and get damage resistance.
Edit 2: news in they can survive an LDR/Her Benevolence headshot. The ridiculousness deepens
Edit 3: to any and all fools saying 'Titans have been sub par in Pvp for year 1 so unbalance is warranted'. Unbalance is never warranted. However you lacked a slayer super, now you have one, a damn good one, and I'm happy for yall. However this does not excuse imbalance. HoS being in line - Damage reduction wise - with the other supers will be a minimal change for most encounters. But in the select few situations were someone is good enough to snipe your face or shotgun melee you, you should die like all the other supers.
Important edit: To the staggering amount of people saying this is acceptable because Titans are tanks, do you have any concept of balance? Because Titans are supposed to be 'war machines' they get a buff to health more than any other class As Well as having the amazing slayer super that is Sunbreaker? If that's the case Gunslingers and Bladedancers should have 100% speed and jump buff on super and warlocks should be able to see through walls because they can detect your aura. Don't be ridiculous and seriously think before commenting.
Edit: To those saying to buff golden gun then, this is not the solution. As I said before golden gun isn't the issue it's the Titan's health. Buffing golden gun would make things like the Skull of ahamkara and radiant skin meaningless. Then you could buff those and so on and it'll spiral out of control. The subclasses (bar defender) worked together quite nicely and it's the addition of new ones that is the (slight) issue.
I'm not saying the subclass or the super are overpowered and need to be nerfed, just that the over-buff to health is silly
How sweet is Kings Fall though :D

17 RisposteModificato da Saigo_no_AK: 9/19/2015 9:11:52 PMI was wondering where the " nerf Thorn" complainers scuttled off too. Glad to see you guys back in action with a new topic.
*triggering intensifies*
2 RisposteYou've had gg for a year, let us have our fun. You can also just jump and run away/not be bad and you won't die to it.

6 RisposteSo much misinformation on one page, it's like half of you don't even know how supers work in PvP. Incredible. 1- most supers get a period of damage reduction not increased health although they basically would achieve the same goal. 2- golden gun was buffed because sun singers using radiant skin max armor could survive a GG shot in year 1, along with Titans in FOH. 3- bladedancer damage reduction is around 40% along with storm caller. The highest damage reduction in the game was sun singers on radiant skin with max armor, they get 50% reduction. Concerning the sunbreaker, it's a class designed to be OP from the beginning. Great grenades and class tree including sunsingers burn perk, hungering blade from bladedancer, and a super that grants radiant skin levels of damage reduction while being ranged.

2 RisposteI have to head shot snipe them twice just to take one down. I have to head shot and 2 body shot to take one down. Seems fair to all other suppers that only take one head shot to kill them. Did I mention it takes 4 body shots to take one down? Seems fair. That LDR shots.

Nightstalker ftw. SHUT HIM DOWN!

Put on your celestial nighthawk and stop crying my friend, quality over quantity, the titans truly deserve this

Bump. This is needed badly

1 RispondiA titan with unstoppable can survive a golden gun shot. And it should, that perk is very situational, sunbreaker however is a different story. In short, its a mess. Then again pvp has never been remotely balanced so I guess its fine. We just have to wait for an entirely no super gamemode
-
2 RisposteThe moment a Titan super is actually good in pvp people whine. Why?!? Also Your 3rd edit has nothing to do with the main topic, so change it, or try having a good counter argument.

5 RisposteI thought we moved on from this childish nerf bull crap...
-
1 RispondiIf u can't eat it join it and make yourself a titan. It is lots of fun
-
Yes it's probably the best super in PvP, but there's always going to be a best super. And its not so far and away better that we need to cry about it.
-
Blade dancers can evade like champs. Titans cannot. It's not that hard to bring a sunbreaker down. Titans just finally got a good super for pvp.
-
4 RisposteSolar defense armor plus the super makes the Titan a 2 shot kill with GG
-
7 RisposteI play def and striker in pvp and sunbreaker is the worst when NO SUPER is up The melee is worse No shoulder charge No force barrier No cc nades (no flashbang or suppressor = no ambushes) The only thing it has going for is the super

I was OHKO by goldengun while I had my super enabled... Could have been a glitchy game...or the titan had a shield.

You haven't even looked at the subclass. All of the perks are for the super, outside of the super it's like you are playing an unleveled subclass with only grenades unlocked. If they nerf it they should remake some of the perks so the subclass isn't so mediocre outside of its super. All the other classes get little bonuses outside super except Sunbreaker, so imo at the moment it's fair. Remake the perks and nerf the DR or leave it the -blam!- alone.

1 RispondiStop whining

5 Rispostehunters don't automatically wipe the entire team with a super now and they cry.
lolzzzzzzz
1 RispondiI have been summoned by the mass hysteria of my power being; "OP"

I still kill them one shot.

4 RisposteI think this will make everyone happy. Make the armor/agility/recovery more important. This way a Titan could spec up to its current tankiness, but would lose agility and recovery and it would be more of a consequence. Hunters could spec to MIDA running speed but would be easier to kill as a trade off. Warlocks could recover health sooner and much quicker, at the expense of armor and mobility. This would help to A) establish more class roles as each class will be able to max out one stat. B) effectively "nerf" sun breaker by making a true tank, not just a high armor death squad of fire. Tell me your thoughts ;)
