Edit 3: from my experience in the crucible it's more like 85% shotguns, 14% snipers and 1% sidearms is that one guy playing just to mess with others
Edit 4: I think some people are confused.... no, the Felwinters, matador, party crasher, are NOT (tagged as) snipers.

2 RisposteI have loved shotguns since I started with shooters in the 90's So do I feel bad using a shotgun just because developers don't know how to make maps not close quarters all the time? Not really no.

Depends on what for. PVP: Shotgun because of them being able to pull off some incredibly bull**** one shots. PVE: Changes depending on the situation

I guess u could say I prefer my main hand weapons. I only use sg or sniper once in aa blue moon hardly ever

I use all three :) snipers more nowadays but still rock the shotgun when needed. Plus nothing is more satisfying than shutting down a bladedancer or sunsingers with a sidearm (just hard to do).

I shotgun and snipe depending on map, though the new maps suck and is very shotgun friendly although a couple can be sniped on as well.
