I’m new to Destiny so this may be a silly question, but I’ll ask anyhow…
I just finished all the main story missions the other day, ending up with a Level 22 Defender. I talked to Eris in the tower to begin The Dark Below, and was surprised to see the first storyline mission in The Dark Below requires only Level 10 (I thought it was a Level 26 mission). The other difficulty level available was “Impossible” (you don’t have enough light), so I tried it on the Level 10 setting. Most of the initial enemies were Level 10, but some of the baddies seemed considerably above Level 10 as I worked my way through it. The second “Dark Below” story mission had the same two levels — Level 10 or Impossible, but also seemed mighty tough at the end for a now level 26 Defender.
Just curious if this is supposed to work this way and I’m missing something, or if perhaps there’s a bug with the new Taken King update. Thanks for any help/advice!

It fits more logically into the story. Dark below starts when you do some moon missions and HoW starts when you go to the reef.
