WTF Taken King Raid Delayed
First no raid with House of Wolves, now TTK raid will not be accessible until later date when? Will we have to wait even after we reach lvl 40?

10 RisposteVoG didn't come out at launch, PoE is better than a Raid, if something is delayed it's better than being released unfinished. So stfu and stop trying to make Bungie look bad.

..... the second half of the story takes place after reaching lvl 40. im assuming you wont be able to do it till after the story is done. Plus theres new gear and you might have to infuse some gear to get the light lvl high enough to even approach the raid. So lets stop being the dooms day committee and actually think things through.

Delayed and being held back are not the same. The raid is finished. VoG was the same way at launch.

Later Date = Two weeks which is apparently the same amount of time that it took for VoG to show up. Unless you plan on soloing it as a pathetic level 34, I think you should try doing the story and leveling your character so you can stand a chance.

That's a miss leading article I watched the interview in question and they clearly quoted like smiths words. He clearly states the raid won't be released not delayed. It's no different from VOG and CE Hard it's not out on release to give you time to level up and acquirer good enough gear so you'll be of use and stand a chance to complete it.

4 RisposteOh wow, you must be a christmas player. See, Vault of Glass was released 2 weeks after day one. It was a huge success because people were given time to prepare. Crota's End came out day one and was met with lots of complaints about being too early and not being given enough time to prepare. This was somewhat remedied with Hard Mode, that released over a month after that.

They did the same thing for VoG, gives people a chance to get weapons and gear and level up.

Just because the date of the raid's release hasn't been explicitly stated, this article wants you to think that it may never come out after all, and they worded the title to play on the fears of people who aren't too critical of what they read. People like you, apparently, because you fell right for it. Why can't we downvote below zero?

They'll open it within a week or two at most. Racing for world first completion is a big deal for the larger clans and something that Bungie enjoys as well. That being said, no one will be able to do the raid right off the bat, everyone will need some time to level up and gear up to do it. By delaying it, Bungie is giving everyone an opportunity to reach the required level and Light score and creating a starting line for those who want to race for world first. It's not deception, it's building hype and being engaged with your community.
