ToO ruined regular crucible for the average gamer.
I want to personally thank all of the Elite ToO players who are now getting paid to carry scrubs through ToO so they can have the top tier crucible weapons and "be good".
ToO was meant to be for the Elite PvP players and it has been turned into a "I'm too lazy to get a job so I'm going to carry scrubs through for money".
How do I know this is happening you ask?Because 5 people who used to be in my friends list told me they are getting paid to carry people through ToO.Before I deleted them,I paid attention to their activity during ToO and I have to believe they were doing exactly what they said after seeing each one of them with the same 2nd fireteam member and a random 3rd the entire ToO time period.
These aren't 5 people working together either.These are 5 seperate people each with a partner carrying people to flawless.
It really sickens me because if you mention "microtransactions"you are instantly hated for wanting to feed Activision/Bungie anymore money by turning Destiny into a pay2win.Then a good sized population of players turn it into pay2win because it is benefits their pocket book.These same 5 people are against microtransactions,hmmm,I wonder why.
i don't know if there is a way to fix this without really upsetting alot of people because the only thing I can think of to fix the issue is to Limit indiviuals to only playing ToO with the same same fireteam.The true Elite ToO players I believe do this by choice already.
My feeling about microtransactions?Previously I was 100% against it,but now I'm on the fence.If the players can turn it into a pay2win on the side then why shouldn't Bungie themselves incorporate some type of microtransaction that would maybe give us dedicated servers vs it being peer2peer.Personally,I would rather Bungie make the money i stead of some no life douche who can't get away from the console to get a job and ruin the recreational activity that the rest of us are paying for.
I will probably get flamed for this and the many typos that are in this, but I really don't care.I'm sick of getting killed by ToO weapons being wielded by people with overall average of 0.5 k/d's(or worse) in their crucible stats(yes,I started looking people up).
As far any typos in here,Im 43 years old with fat fricking thumbs typing this on an android phone with a screen smaller than 5".
Besides,If scrubs can get ToO weapons.I can come on the forums and be lazy typing with the worlds worst grammar/spelling/typos.It really isn't any different.

No,this isn't a "ToO weapons are too OP and need nerfed"post either.They should be OP because they aren't supposed to be easy to obtain.
I'm also not saying they are "God" PvP weapons either.they are close though because they have perfect stats for PvP.
With a little luck and/or alot of resources other weapons can be reforged to be just as good,maybe better.
You legit ToO players need to make it harder for these losers who are helping to make Destiny a pay2win.If wasn't a mediocre crucible player who totally sucks at elimination I would do my part in trying to make it harder for these carries,but i do suck at it

2 Risposteone could tell by a quick look at my grimoire that i am not much of a pvp'er at all having only done a handful of IBs over my past year of gameplay and otherwise avoided the crucible like the plague. nonetheless i feel compelled to chime in here. the only reason i would have even considered doing trials would be due to the overwhelming fact that PoE weapons suck balls and Trials weapons are CLEARLY superior to them in every way. For whatever reason, bungie decided in their infinite "wisdom" that 35 skolas was too easy and should offer only a chance to get a random weapon with random stats and that some of the random affixes should be complete shit (e.g. doug or skank burn) and if rolled render the weapon completely worthless. meanwhile, trials offer guaranteed rewards including primary weapons with elemental damage affixes because those are obviously necessary in pvp. i have never even bothered to set foot inside a single trials match because pvp makes me just way too angry. would i have considered paying some vape addicted malcontent to zerg me through the trials? perhaps. but again my only reason for doing so would have been in order to get an elemental primary that did not have awful stats like my [armory]six dreg pride II[/armory] and [armory]wolves' leash II[/armory]. but considering the fact that bungie hits the reset buttin in 15 days, there is absolutely no point in doing much of anything but waiting for the clock to tick down to see once and for all if this game will get any better or remain the glowing pile of shit that it has currently become.

Trials is for everyone, and the weapons aren't great. Though, I don't condone charging or paying to get to the lighthouse.

5 RisposteFor tOo to be THE place you have to go is ridiculous. Way better weapons than poe and bungie is making EVERYONE have to do it to get some exotics in the ttk is maddening. What, maybe 5% of the community is good enough to go flawless? People like it and that's fine. .. I'm glad they put it in.... crucible is much easier with all the talent busy in tOo

2 RisposteNone of the Trials weapons are all that amazing besides perhaps the messenger, and the hopscotch is better. Well that auto rifle is nice but by the time auto rifles get buffed TTK will be out and all these weapons are getting left behind regardless.

The only trials gun i ever use in trials is tomorrows answer Im assuming u have thorn and the last word, and a good roll on a shotgun You arent at a disadvantage at all Trials weapons kinda suck to be honest other than the burn for pve

2 RisposteLook at it this way: if they have top-tier Crucible weapons but aren't good, then it's not going to matter what gun they have. Also...where are you seeing this big crowd of Trials weaponry? I see them occasionally (a few Messengers, a few Jewels, a few times Tomorrow's Answer) but most of the time, if I see some joe or jane sporting Trials emblems or armor, they're using The Last Word or Thorn. I probably run into a Trials weapon every 3 or 4 matches, and usually only one (that is, out of the six opponents, rarely does more than 1 have a bright yellow gun).

2 RisposteMaybe limit it so that if they've gotten flawless on that particular character then they're locked out of trials on that character until the next trials start... However, people have paid for this game so they can do whatever they want.. Even if it means making money from trials. While I for one don't agree with it nor would pay, but what can u do :P lol.

Yes I have gone flawless 4 times no carry, just me and my friends who are trying to have fun but getting easy passages. I am a decent player, but see too many carries that are obviously paid for. However, to ur point, it's becoming so serious to become a flawless player. Year 1 won't even be part of year 2!

I know someone who had one of these twat streamers pull them through trials.Thats lame. It took me more than a few tries with other people but I ended up getting flawless. Not to mention 18-0.

11 RisposteIf your premise is that trials weapons are op and shouldn't be weilded by those who aren't good: that's a bad approach to game design. 1. Rewarding skilled players with op weapons increases the gap making it unfair. You'll just have ppl quitting lobbies. (this is also why crucible drops are random and not point based) 2. Trials weapons aren't op in crucible. Messenger is decent but can be countered quite easily (and the hopscotch dominates messenger in every way)
