Seriously, why is anyone still playing
One of the purposes of the game is to get th sweet loot. But bungee has said, in no uncertain terms, that the weapons from year one will be basically only viable for year one activities. So, I guess they are giving us more vault space for our useless year one exotics? As a trophy case? Stupid.
I honeatly don't see why anyone is still playing. At least until the riddle of September. Why grind for The Iron Banner shotgun when a green or white weapon from TTK may be seriously better?
Budgie should not pretend that TKK is a DLC and own up to the fact that they are just making a new game altogether. Get ready to start over, people.

Fun, to play with friends can't think of any other games like destiny that are out that you can get 3-6 together and shoot stuff both pve and pvp wise

Because this is basically the only time I have played the game for fun and not for the loot grind. Its like a break from work...hahaha.

Move on. Adapt. Or get left behind. Use that gun as much as you want. But if you're not going to use it because it's not the best gun to use. Then your going to just get another gun that's the best to use.

Pretty much every game that is loot based, with a leveling system and MMO elements does this. New weapons and armor for the new expansion.

And? I'm find with that, new gear is nice. Why would you want a Vex Mythoclast? Because it's new gear. Why Helm of Saint-14? It's new gear. You seek new things, if you didn't want new gear, you'd be a LVL 20 with the Khostov and the starter armor.

You're only looking at the PvE side of the game. Year one weapons and armor will not be invalid for standard PvP activities. I still don't have hopscotch pilgrim or the scholar. Those are the only reasons I am playing the game other than having fun with friends in PvP.

1. Public Event Package exp stockpiling 2. All weapons will be viable in standard crucible. Therefore, gimme dat silimar's wrath plz. 3. Helping friends with stuff (grimoire, triumphs, ect) 4. VoG is still fun a year later
