So Using Nightfall Buff was and exploit? WtF? Bring it back!!!
So Bungie eliminated another thing from the game that was never a threat in the first place and that no one really considered an exploit.
Since when did anyone feel forced to play nightfall? Bullsht.
Obviously why wouldn't one begin the week with nightfall when one can use that buff for factions and bounties? Bungie made foolish excuse to make us grind more.
Bungie said they would make up for that xp but please since when did anyone trust their crap anymore? How many unbroken things had bungie "fixed" just to lie to us and make us grind. You are all sheeps if you think bungie will keep all of their promises.

The buff will still be there, you just won't have to do nightfall to get it anymore so it's actually less grind since the buff will be there 24/7 now

2 RisposteMy real life friends quit because they couldn't find people to play night falls on the weekends. We were all stuck at 29 due to VoG poor drop rates, so they bailed.

First off. I really don't care. Really. However, I don't they should have removed it, as I you can't really play until Friday/the weekend, your going to benefit as much from the buff as you would have doing all your Nf's on Tuesday. It should always be the first thing you do, and if you ditch work on Tuesday to get it done then can't really play untill the weekend, that's the same (essentially) as doing it on Friday, then going about your usual business.

I was pretty salty about this too, just because of how much fun nightfalls can be, but since they're making it up by adding extra XP to the activities it's really not that big of a deal, although if they take away mah blue flames then deej is getting sacrificed to oryx

I don't care what any one says. the current bungie staff is really fukin horrible. they are showing that the don't have a fukin clue what they are doing. what they are not telling ya is that to get the buff you had to do the nightfall, tbh yeah you should. but all the bitching by people that couldn't do nightfalls because they never forked up the dough for the expansions made them take it off to keep numbers up.

3 RisposteHow can you even complain about this? XP and Rep is being increased to account for the loss of the buff but if you still want to do the Nightfall first thing on a Tuesday you can. We're essentially getting given the buff each week without having to do a thing. I can't see the problem here?

7 RisposteWasn't deemed an exploit. It was stated that they don't want people to be forced to doing it first thing to gain most of xp benefits. They want you to play when you want to. Read the update.

I think it was abused in a way that Nightfalls took priority over everything at the beginning of the week, and so Bungie is changing it up because people could get there gear maxed quicker

Bungie didn't like that idea because your effectively locking yourself out of content. "I want to play this activity but I have to do Nightfall first so I get the xp buff."
