It is absolutely embarrassing how entitled this community is.....
We get a few exotics announced and immediately the forums dissolve into kids wallowing in puddles of tears and piss because the few we have seen so far do not break the game or have ridiculously powerful perks on them.
You people always seem to forget that Exotics are meant to be good in SITUATIONS. There are not many Exotics that are good for ALL situations ALL the time. They are meant to be used with certain playstyles or with certain abilities and that is it.

Then you have the people completely dismissing them as a whole because they themselves have no use for it.

This mentality right here is what I am talking about. The world of Destiny does not revolve around you. There are PLENTY of exotics in the game that do not fit my playstyle but I know they are not useless because OTHER people have a use for them. So lets all take a deep breath. Grow up a little bit. Then wait and see the ENTIRE list of exotics before you rush to bombarding the forums with your entitled rants and ravings. The world is not ending. There are plenty of Exotics that we haven't seen yet so if you don't like these then there are others still coming.
[b]I guarantee you that you will find some exotics that will work great for [i]YOU[/i][/b]

A couple months later all sorts of tears about not having it. Learn from the past people, don't assume anything is trash till you try it.

Well I agree non of these exotics are meant to make you enable god mode, but these exotic armor pieces just feel weak and worthless to grind for compared to some of the year one exotics coming into year two like the Light beyond nemesis, unless you want to farm for glimmer you have no reason to use the Alchemist's Raiments over the Light Beyond Nemesis. The only exception to this is the new hunter gauntlets which will have their uses in PvP (since an extra Backstab is very handy)

I agree, most exotics are situational and without ACTUALLY playing the game yet it's hard to say how useful they might be. Love bad juju in banner btw

If Destiny were free then yes I would agree people wouldn't be entitled to demand anything. However, it isn't. Bungie and Activision want our money. WE are entitled to make counter demands in exchange for that money. Only someone with very little respect for themselves expects to be dictated to by a company or corporation!

Only thing that annoys me about the armor is how Bungie just used crappy/average perks already in the game and threw them onto the exotics because they were apparently too lazy to think of new exotic perks.

i do agree that they shouldn't be god mode but getting glimmer when picking up primary ammo really does mean nothing for everyone. the second melee charge might be good and the Angel of Light Titan helmet is pretty well a niche perk which won't do anything (except for me who will do some sweet snipes in pvp with this). What I recommend is that Bungie brings all Year one exotics to Year Two values but Redesign the exotics. They don't have to do this at launch. For example, Ghorn, keep the Wolf pack rounds but reduce the velocity and add tripod in the perk one column. Mida Multi tool, add third eye to the exotic perk, allow MIDA to locate CHESTS and maybe add battle runner.

3 RisposteIsn't a exotic suppose to feel like an exotic? How can you say that a glimmer bonus is considered a exotic perk considering we have consumables for that? Or why would I want to pick up orbs if my super is filled just to speed up my melee? Those don't sound like perks worthy of being an exotic. Maybe legendary's but nothing more.

I would agree that this community is entitled. However, most of those exotics had exceptionally mediocre "exotic" perks. I mean really? Glimmer from ammo on a warlock chest? Why? Glimmer isn't at all hard to get in the first place...
